I have a Bin Image File and a Cue Image file on my HHD. I've used bin/cue files when using VCD Gear Program. But this time after going thru the message boards it sounds like I need to use Alcohol 120% to put these files on a DVD. Is that correct? I noticed that it seems like it take 1 Image file and then burn on to DVD. My situation is I have 2 Image files and I'm nor quite sure if I should use the Bin Image or the Cue Image file using Alcohol. Also is this the best program to use in this case? I appreciate your help with this.
isobuster will take care of this problem for you, and the best thing it is free, most of the times bin,cue files are for making vcd's but you could convert the files to be put on dvd, hope that helps good luck happy burning have a nice day
With Nero open, roll your mouse over the icons at the top of Nero's window. Third from the right, is "Copy and Backup" icon. under it is "Burn Image To Disc". Click on that. When that window opens, drag and drop the .cue file (and ONLY the .cue file) in it. Then burn like normal..........
I did this exact same thing last night, and it worked fine. It took me awhile to figure it out though. I was starting to get frustrated...... I was doing a DTS cd.

I have Nero 6 and I tried using the Nero Rom and use the cue file but it would not reconize it. Also how do you connect these 2 files and put on my DVD? A friend told me to use VCD Easy..any suggestions on this program? I do appreciate the help,thank-you!
I don't know what else to tell you, unless it's to try the other file (by itself), that's with the .cue file. I've done it that way once too.
I also have Nero 6, and it worked for me.

May not be the best way but the few times I've had bin/cue files like cd1 & cd2 I extracted each bin file using IsoBuster.
This will create a .dat file.
I then used Nero Vision and added both .dat files and merged them (1 movie).
Came out fine.
and after you extract the meg file from the bin and cue file with isobuster you can convert it with vso convertxtodvd, but with the fact it is a VCD the quailty will probley be not the best
