I was at best buy and the sales guy was talking to an elderly man about the 80GB iPod (I am now a proud owner of the 80GB iPod) and I heard him tell the man that there were 2 40GB hard drives in the 80GB iPod. Is this true? I would just open my iPod to find out but it is oly 2 ays old.

Yea, I wasn't sure. The salesman was talking to an elderly man who looked like he was amazed by the whole thing. I think the sales guy was just trying to impress the guy nought to make a sale... and he did... I don't know if that older man had even heard of a iPod before he walked into bestbuy.

I'm not sure at all, but on Bestbuys website if you look at the specs on the 30 GB it says Storage Type - Flash Memory, and on the 80 GB it says Storage Type - Hard Drive. I thought the 30 GB had a hard drive too not flash memory?
