Hi Fellas. You both were a great help to me as a Newbie when I originally had problems backing up some of my grandson's DVD's. Everything has gone smoothly until I ran into Cars & Click. Please read my Thread of earlier today in thew Newbie's section. I use your tutorials all the time, Alcohol. I know them pretty well by heart.I can't seem to back these up.Could you please help.
CARS has Macrovision's RipGuard, but it's simple as usual. Even DVD Decrypter alone can rip this in Mode, File F. I've tried 3 methods and all worked beautifully; (1) DVDFAB Decrypter (get the latest) (2) RipIt4Me 1.5.7.0 and (3) DVD Decrypter via Mode, File F.
CLICK is few weeks old, but it's more nasty, it's got Sony's ARccOS, one of the toughest encrypted protections. However, both DVDFAB Decrypter and RipIt4Me handle this easily as well.
For CLICK, I strongly recommend processing the already ripped "VIDEO_TS.IFO" file through the latest VobBlanker 2120B7, here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=903536#post903536 Or processing the ripped files through the latest FixVTS 1.6.0.0 in prior to transcode with DVD Shrink, Nero Recode or encode with DVD-RB Pro.
NOTE: I've tested these 2 methods and it worked like a charm.
