I'm not sure if this is the correct forum or not. Please feel free to move it.
I have many home videos which over the years have been converted from VHS tapes to VCD's. However I find that eventually the pictures on some of the VCD's start to break up.
Is there a way to convert VCD's to DVD-R and any documented process guides I can use to do this?

Sorry but I'm not very clued upon this stuff. I basically need an idiot's step by step guide to help me.
What does covertxtodvd mean? Do I need particular software, hardware? Does this website have a process manual on this?
