I was just wantting to know if anyone had any info on the new GTA 4. I'm not shure if the game is going to come out on the PS2 and PS3. But from what I hear the game is going to come out on PS3 in Oct. of this year. If anyone has any info on GTA 4 please post. If anyone has any photos of the game post them also. I can't wait for the game to come out.

It will come out on Xbox 360 & PS3 in October. There haven't been any official screenshots yet and some fakes are going around.

It is NOT coming on PS2, it is a next generation game for next-gen consoles only.

Good thing I have already started to save up for a PS3. I hope they drop the price of them before Oct. I still want to see some screenshots of the new GTA 4.

I reckon they won't drop the price for a very long time. Xbox 360 is better looking on graphics and has far better online use and is around £200 cheaper. (Dont know $) But i will never switch from using the Playstation.

I think they will drop the PS3 prices when the sales start to fall right now i believe that they are still raising so dont expect to see a price drop anytime too soon.

Only on Ps3 and 360 and there is no chance on Ps2 unless a re-make but People you have to Understand the Playstation 2 Era is comming to a close in at most a year its finsihed you also have to understand that the Ps2 has done enough and has turned Gaming Industry around it has records which will likely be beaten I dont want anymore out of my Ps2 it has done enough Im Dissapointed that the Ps3 is going so poorly at the moment.
Ps2 Has
-The Most Games in history
-Most 3rd party support
-Sold the most sytems
-Had the best launch Line Up and maybe one that wont be repeated.
Was;
-The fastest selling system until the Wii
Sony Has also lost the Rights to GTA like in the past now GTA is under a COntract WIth microsoft which makes some parts of the game 360 Only like maybe updates.

Do your think there will be other parts of the game that will only be on 360 other than updates. Do you think there will be two different games, one for the PS3 and one for 360. Or do you think the'll be the same you just won't be able to update on PS3.

its quite unlikely a company like rockstar making 360 only extras. they are not on anyones side, only on the moneys side, so if they keep both of them the same and get more money, thats good for them. also, ps3 may look less on graphics than the 360 but is potentially capable of alot more than the 360, it is 2x powerful than the 360, which we should see evidence of in the coming years. but maybe there may be some small things which are better for the 360 version, i dont know, but i doubt it.

You know MSAA9993 i don't really remember now.

gta 4 is only for ps3 and xbox360
but there is already available gta: vice city stories for the ps2

Microsoft has a sort of contract with rockstar fro IV one that means the 360 will get more content that is why people were so peed sony lost it in ither words sony "COuldnt risk it" with the ps3 already giving them migranes.

Sony is just as bad wantting $500 and $600 for a PS3. That proply don't cost half that to make. Look at the PS2 $300 when it first came out. Now you can get one for less than $100 and Sony is still making money off it.

although this really should be talked about in the ps3 forum, oh well.
the ps3 actually costs more to make then they are selling it for.
Also.,I would put money on there being exclusive downloadable content for both ps3 and 360. There is no way that the 360 version will be any better then the ps3. And about the graphics/online: i would also bet on the ps3 being better in both categories(especially graphics) in the future. You have to remember, its still new. the 360's graphics and online weren't too hot when it came out either. check out the ps3 forums for more info tho. oh and i dont think the next gta will be in london, as there was already one in london.

Why cant you all read my posts?
I said last year at the E3 it was said sony did NOT sign a contract with Rockstar for GTA to only be on Ps3 for a year or so so microsoft signed a contract that stated that the game will be developed for the Xbox 360 and ONLY the Xbox Live Service will have acces to GTA IV updates and patches to download but the Playstation 3 wont it will get a PORTED Xbox 360 game without the Download extras.
That is what money does it can change everything,
5 years ago we were bragging how Sony has these gun GTA games and Microsoft Dosent well its all turned around on us not 100% id say about 40%.
Saying that the Ps3 version will be better is wrong it will be equal till the first set of updates dont come.

Rockstar have already said that there will be exclusive downloadable content for BOTH systems (dont have link). I highly doubt the PS3 version is a straight port of the 360 version, when more details are released then we will no for sure but as with most ports (if its even a port) in porting a game it gets lots of improvements/enhancements like framerate etc. So if they do make it for 360 then "port" it to PS3 the PS3 version will still be marginally better.
