Hi everybody!!
I know this probably doesn't exactly blong in here but I already tryed IPod Forum and nobody answered :-((

I need your help.
I have one iPod and two laptops. (Powerbook and iBook). I have all of the files of my iPod synct with my Powerbook. Now I'm traveling and only have my iBook with me. Yesterday I downloaded "Heroes" from iTunes, but I can't figure out how to export the file from the iTunes library in my iBook to my iPod with out deleting everything else from my iPod...
I wouldn't mind doing it manualy.

Please help me!! *desperate* ;-((

I know there is a way to do this in Terminal but it is pretty complicated and I am not positive how to do it. The best work-around I can think of requires some hard drive space.

Download Senuti (iTunes spelled backwards). This gives you the ability to move stuff from your iPod to your computer. Move anything you do not have on your PowerBook (stuff you don't want to lose or want to listen to before you get back home) onto your iBook. Make sure to actually add the songs to your iTunes library. Then reassign the iPod to your iBook (it will erase). Then you can add any of the music you want to put back on the iPod along with the Heroes episode. By this time you are probably sick of dealing with it so just plug in the iPod and click sync all before you head to bed.

I have a similar problem. I tie my iPod to my G4 tower because it has a much bigger HD (& I have alot of music). Sometimes I am on the road and want to move something from my MacBook (used to be my PowerBook) to my iPod and this is the way I do it. I find myself commonly reassigning (erasing) my iPod to move it between computers. Just make sure you have all the music on your iPod somewhere so if you ever need to erase it, the only things you need to get off it are songs you will want before you get back to your main box.

The other option is become at one with the Terminal to figure out how to hack the iPod. Just be sure what you are doing before you start messing with it.

Good Luck
