Does anyone know how to get DVR recorded programs onto the ipod?

I have been struggeling with the same problem.I solved it by first converting the dvr into dvd with the free licensed "Any Video Converter" and using the same converter to turn the dvd into PSP format which is also used on the iPod.
It is strange but I had to do it in these two steps.It seems that the converter can't turn the DVR directly into PSP/iPod or I'm pllane stupid (again)
