Hey , That 75 pack OD DVD-R looks promising ? Are the Office Depot DVD-R's any good?? I have tried the Office Depot DVD+R's and never had a problem with them.

Unjust2u- If they code out as Ritek or Ricohjpns then they should be pretty good , not in the Taiyo yuden or verbatim class but not CMc Crap either !!!! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I did a search and on Black Friday or last year someone posted that with the 75/25 packs the DVD R- are made by Fuji. Guess I'll stick with the 50 packs and might see if I can find the Ritek DVD+

1REDS1- You Must've lucked into some of the old 8x's Nothing wrong with that ! I've had pretty good luck with Ritek's particularly The 05's THey were pretending to be Maxells though ! Still you can't beat the price though !Bought 4 50ct. spindles of the 16x DVD+R's so I can booktype 'em on the Benq ! Basically I ended up with 200 blanks for about what I would have paid for 100 of any Major Brand ( Sony, Verbatim , ect... !!!- Kind of like the Old Buy one get one free sales but they did'nt call it that ! Have'nt opened this batch yet but they're either gonna be Riteks or Ricohjpns & I've had pretty decent results with both ! Glad you liked your purchase !!!! Good luck & happy burning

Well after trying various burning speeds and even altering the firmware with Media Code Speed Edit I've given up trying to get a decent burn on these Office Depot Ritek F16's =[..........my guess is they will be getting plenty of returns in the next few days. Wish they had stuck to using Ricohjpn's...those were good ones.....*sigh* in fact I'm giving up on any retail store and just gonna bite the bullet and purchase online. Taiyo Yuden probably.
