I bought a Belkin 2 USB charger specifically for mini-USB and iPod Video charging. My Blackberry charges just fine, but my iPod just shows the green power symbol with the charging symbol, but it does not charge.

I have left it on there for days and is just slowly dies.

Any suggestions?

well try to charge the ipod in the computer and see what happends, if you still have problems you may need a new battery, they are very cheap and you can buy the kid to doit your self, for around $50 dollars that include the after market stronger battery and the little tools to pry open your ipod. you can google ipod parts and you can find them. Good Luck.

i have a belkin 2 USB charger that makes my iPod show the green charging symbol on the top bar. But it charges fine. This is likely an ipod hardware issue

If your iPod?s battery is totally dead, your computer might not be able to charge it via USB. Also, you can get caught in a battery/hard drive error loop with a bad or dead battery, the way to get past that point is to boot the iPod into disk mode (hold the center and bottom button at start up), then let the unit charge for 1/2 hour or so to insure you?ve got a good charge, then try hooking it up to your computer.
