sad ipod error message... HELP!!!

hey, i need some help here...i was listening to some music with my ipod in my back pocket, and all of a sudden it quit working. i press the center+menu button and all i get is a sad ipod image. the center+left button works for the tests and what not, but i have no idea on what to do from there.

please help!
