Hey guys,
I have finally confirmed something I noticed before. Your internet carrier can also be using spyware on your computer. I use ver- down south and sygate informed me it wanted to send a message-I let it through and got a nasty message about P2P useage. My computer has been screwed for a while. Now I know why. I can trace it to the first day I accepted this carrier. Yuck!

@ justice05
HouseCall gives you a link to the MS page that discusses the problem. I would go to those links and download fixes from there if available. The MS critical updating system only searches for Windows updates. Those updates you need could be for other MS software like Office. So check out those links, worst case it won't hurt to install the updates twice if you already had them.
You can also go to: http://office.microsoft.com and click on "Check for updates" link on the right side to check for Office updates.

I'll try that tomorrow morning and tell you how it goes, I'm gonna put it on hibernate so the pop-ups don't kill me when I turn on my computer. Plus on top of my router and wireless card on my laptop is acting up!! Thanks!

If I performed System Restore to an earlier date do I have to run all the scans again? By the way, before the System Restorea and after all of the scans I still had the pop-ups when logging in. I performed in that order and removed all spyware, and adware. No viruses or the anything showed up on CWShredder. Everything had the latest updates.
