ok guys heres the unlock instructions to unlock all the sidekicks

enjoy!!!

1. Insert your non-TMobile sim card
2. The phone display says "Enter the code".
3. Press the "X" button.
4. Choose the left-up angle button.
5. you will see the menu
6. Choose "setting"--->"network"--->"scan and select manually".
7. The phone will search for your network.
8. When it finds your network, you can use the phone to make calls

You can't make calls or send text messages (you can't even access your text inbox), but you can receive calls.

in my store here in texas cingular sims send and recieve voice calls but no text or internet.

the unlocker is b.s for the sidekick..it wont work!trust me..

hi, i bought fromç ebay the sidekick 2 and i am living in argentina..
i need to use it with a local gsm carrier here...
i have paid almost $200 on trying to get it unlocked.. everyone tlelling me the same thing to go to setings network, scan manually and find my network... but my network does not come up.. i am sick and tired of it i really really need the code to unlock the sim urgent... i will pay.. i am desperate..

I have ahiptop and I have been trying for weeks to unlock the dang thing and there is no use wasting your money. I can not find anyone who knows how to unlock it. Sorry, everything I have tried has failed.
