I have this problem while watching the video in my classic 160gb ipod, the playback will stopped suddenly after 10 or more minutes and return to the menu. When i go back to the same video, it will not resume and instead go back to the start. I have to fast forward so that i can go back to the scene when the payback stopped and resume. But after 20 minutes or more, the same problem will start again - the playback will stopped and go back to menu.
This happens to most of the rmvb videos i converted using Jodix converter.
Previously i have no such problems converting one movie and it played perfectly in my ipod without any interruptions.
I dont use jodix i use videora, and i have no problem, ok the second issue you are having right click on the video file in itunes and choose get info then Options and make sure remember play position is selected, look at the pic below....
But my problem is not about resuming playback after stopping to watch the movie.

I will have to fast forward the movie to the scene when i stopped previously. Den the same problem will happen again after 10mins or more.
This is very irritating as i need to fast forward everytime the movie stopped by itself.
ok did you try playing the movie on the pc and see if it plays fine, also check the settings on Jodix, another thing you can try when connecting the ipod to the computer on itunes click on restore i was having a similar problems a song will begin playing it will play for a few and skip to the next song, after restoring the ipod, i never had the issue arise again.
