I have a 30g Ipod video. I think it's a standard model rather than touch, nano etc..However, I cannot get my movies or video podcasts to work on my ipod.

Once I download a video or podcast, I cannot slide it into the video folder in itunes. I can create a new folder and slide it across but doesnt show in that folder as movie, only audio file.

I even tried downloading a podcast video from itunes music store, which showed up in podcasts. When I sync ipod, it doesnt go onto ipod???

Very frustrating...all video's I have d/loaded are MP4 format and any that aren't I have converted with Amiersoft Video converter...

Can anyone help????

Cheers

Mick

I recently found more than 7.4 version will have instability. Its update primarily is iphone user and part of the Drive drivers.

If you do not need, please do not updated. Have the opportunity to lead the new version of iTunes database files disorder, the process will make iTunes.exe to death cycle. Eventually lead to manually create a new iTunes folder, which fully equivalent to install iTunes.

Users can add a lot of trouble.

iTunes for Windows: iTunes 7 doesn't recognize iPod
iPod will appear on desktop, but will not show up in iTunes
Many Windows XP users customize the Local Services that run on their system to improve performance. Having the Local Service called "Terminal Services" disabled in Windows XP will prevent iTunes from recognizing your iPod.

Products affected
iTunes 7.0
Windows XP
iPod (all models)

Solution

From the the Start menu, choose Run.

In the Open field, type services.msc.

Click OK.

The Services browser will open and display a list of all of the background services installed on your computer.

Scroll down to Terminal Services.

Double-click Terminal Services to view its properties.

From the Startup type pop-up menu, choose Manual.

Click Apply and then click OK.

Restart your computer.

After your computer has restarted, the service "Terminal Services" will be running. When you reconnect your iPod and open iTunes, your iPod should be recognized.
