You have listed alot of diffrent models there, It's tough to say which are the best one's, best thing to do is check out reviews on the net.
Try and get one with the best contrast ratio and stick to 6ms response time.
I personaly own a Sharp 1080p and I love it, but I don't think you can go wrong with Sony, Sharp or Samsung.
I gaurantee you will love blu-ray in 1080p along with the ps3 games, I know I do.

Good Luck

Contrast, response time, brightness are things to look for. I'd go with a set that has the best color reproduction.

That's what my set up consists of.... samsung 32"(i thought anything above seemed stupid, i might as well have bought a very nice hdmi lcd projector they had there, they nearly got me, but no i went for the 32" samsung. PS3 & a very nice little bombastic samsung 5.1 amp with 2 subs each side of the room. First Off, STAY AWAY FROM SONY TV's & COMET!!!!!!! In my experience Sony tv's are very bad quality compared to most Samsungs's & Comet are bas**rds if you need to replace the tv, i had a broken lcd projection screen about 2 years ago with a clearly broken bulb/lens or whatever's in there, lol, he looked at it & said "i can't see anything & you'll just have to pay for the tv" Even though there was a bloody great cloudy looking shape of the whole left side of the screen! The price was £1200, so of course i fronted him with a very angry face & pow! got my refund, but were not all that lucky. So thats my advice to you. Try to get a decent samsung not from comet! Also cloverfield blu-ray(import) looks the tits in 1080P & the dolby truehd track rocked my house! you can also rip HD DVD's & put them onto your PS3 hard drive, it's like a HD Hub. If you want to be blown away (Bearing in mind you have a decent digital surround set up with at least 2 subs aswell, one either side of the tv, spread out as much as you can, You should try Die hard 4.0, twister, the descent, blade runner(5-disc U.S. Import), Hellboy. I know a couple of these are imports(sorry, their very easy to import) Along with all that you should have the same ball-tingling feeling i get everytime i switch my set-up on. Also i'm not a big games fan, but GTA IV was very impressive the picture the sound it really feels like your there. Hope this has been helpful.

I've got a 47" Samsung for my PS3 and it's just brilliant. I use a 1080P 37" Sharp Aquos for my 360 though, and that's just as sharp with movies and regular TV.

I just bought a ps3 and currently, my hdtv can only support to 1080i (bought the first sony bravia xbr model). Component cables are good enough, but want to experience the full 1080p of my ps3/360. I've been searching around and found this to be good for its price I think...Sony KDL40W4100

Think it's a good purchase for experiencing the full 1080p?

Name brands aren't always as good as people expect them too be. I've found over the years, that they just jump on the band wagon and people assume because of the name its got too be good quality. I personally bought a Sony 60" not for brand name, but size. Any I started to receive notices of faulty parts, which turned out to be true, which I was having problems anyway. I had no problems with the service people repairing my unit, once Sony got all their paper work in order. They would notify me that they were responsible, inform me to call authorized service & setup an appointment--which I did, then the authorized service would call me back and say that Sony responded that they were not responsible, and I would have to pay. Well again I would call Sony and inform them of the letter they sent. Again they assumed responsibility...All in all it took 3 mons to resolve my problem, because of Sonys chain of command. That to me is too long to be without a TV..So long story short..A Police Officer friend of mine has 3 TV'a all 40" 1.Sony 1.LG 1.Olevia...of the 3 he tells me the Olevia has the better picture, and he paid the least for it. The LG WAS 2nd on his list. By his standards I bought a 47" Olevia $1,100 at CompUSA online, the picture and hook-ups are excellent. I swear I'll never buy an over priced name brand again

For my PS3 I went with a 42" Phillips LCD 1080p w/ Ambilight.
The picture is supurb!.. it only has an 8ms response time but I have never had an issue with it. My favorite part is the ambilight because it consists of two bars of LEDs on either side of the set that light up my wall with and exact color match of the most dominant color of that side of the TV. That didn't seem all that important at first when I got it.. but now when something blows up on the left side.. the ENTIRE left wall glows in the exact color orange as the screen and gives off a nice effect.

I was at circuit city the other day and saw the Sony KDL40xbr4 & the Samsung LNT4069F in action playing 10,000 BC with the new motion flow technology. I was fairly impressed! Are the 120hz tv's hot on the market now especially playing video games?

The biggest issue with LCD is the motion "blur" or "studder" that can happen when a lot is moving fast on the screen. The refresh rate (which is measured in milliseconds *ms) is the key to better looking motion. The industry acceptable standard for most is 8ms. Some TV's have 6ms and some even have 4ms. This is a big factor if you like sports/videogames/action movies. For me, I have almost never noticed an issue with motion.. but some are pickier than others. Plasma uses a gacious substance that is quicker so motion tends to look better... but the resolution of a plasma is considered to be less sharp.

You have to weigh it out for what you want. If you like gaming in Hi-def.. then pick up an LCD for the resolution.

Also.. be careful what you see in a ciruit city or best buy.. many times they connect all the TV's on the wall via coax which doesnt offer a true HD signal. You notice small differences between tv's but it doesnt give an accurate representation for any of the sets. Its a pet peev of mine. you may be talking about a display or end cap set though which was connected directly to a blu-ray player.. in that case it can be different. Make sure they are using an HDMI cable as it offers the best quality
