Ok so since even with programs I couldn't copy my songs from my old ipod to my new one I had to add them all OVER. So after 4 days of editing song names, fixing tags and adding photos for the Cover Flow I am done!

But I was wondering if there is a way to backup your IPOD to your computer?

FIRST off these are songs FROM my computer. I don't have songs from ITUNES. All these are from ripped cds I own. So currently all the music is on my pc. I know the first thing people will say is just copy the "control" folder. Or maybe to just put them back on your IPOD.

But the problem with that is:
1. The songs that go on the IPOD tend to get renamed or stick to there "control" folder names like "ZINM".
2. I don't retain the album covers I had most of the time.
3. There are a few other things that don't stay the same.

I need something that makes a perfect copy of my IPOD so incase the IPOD ever needs to be replaced I don't ever have to do all this junk again for 4 days.
