Okay, first off, I have one of the old school GS2s, I just don't know what version. The stupid thing doesn't even have a version anywhere on it. Any ideas on how to help? It came with a PS1 archive disc if that helps any. Anyway, I could really use someone's help. I've tried the MaxConverter to get my Monster Hunter codes to work correctly, but with no luck. I always get a black screen at startup.
The only codes I can find for the game are either CB (which require version 7 or higher so they're out) or ARMAX (which don't have the codes I'm looking for). So, I'm stuck with GS version 3-4 or Media player/broadband enable codes. Can I even convert the mediaplayer/broadband enabled (MP/BE) codes to work on GS version 1 or 2? And if so, how?

Titan0415 for the gameshark version just insert the gameshark cd and the gameshark memory card and on the menu select options and there you should see your gameshark version. I hope that helps.

For Splinter cell.
Yeah, when I used that M code I made sure the other codes were in raw format too. I tried that M code with codes converted over from Gameshark 2 version 3 and 4 codes and also some ARMAX codes, which worked great for gran turismo 4, but no dice for Splinter cell.
Oh well, im over trying to get it to work for now. Too much of a pain in the butt to enter all those codes.

sorry, im yet another person who has no idea what im doing, my gameshark doesnt tell me the version, but it came out in 2001
but anyway i need to know how to set everything up to make the inf. or max gold codes in dragon quest 8 to work on my GS, please help me or do it for me if thats easier :D

Converting to AR2v2
Tools I use:
1)MaxConvert 0.71 by Pyriel

This is how I do it:
1)Decrypt the AR MAX (M) code to AR2v2
3)Add the (M) keycode 0E3C7DF2 1853E59E
4)Convert the rest of the codes
Soul Calibur 3
*AR MAX (M)

M7X7-GC8A-D2PHK
*To use this method, the (M) code must only be two lines. If the (M) code has more than 2 lines, this method will not work.
2)Converted to AR2v2

Now, just copy/paste the other codes into the program and click convert.

Happy Holidays to everyone! Can anyone help me convert ARMax or GS3-4 codes for Dragon Quest VIII to GS2v2? I've tried creating my own codes using MaxConvert, and converting the ARMax codes and GS3-4 codes. Not sure If I even have the correct master code working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
