Hey, alright me and my friends had been going to our HS football games and everything collecting caps. There were 5 of us, and we had a total of 500. We all stuck them in for the same time(9:10 on Friday the 7th) and we looked, and it said the winner for that time was from Sun Prairie, WI(our hometown) and now its monday, 72 hours later, but it hasnt sent us the e-mail, our town is small so we're guessin we're the only 1s that put it in for that time, and we asked people and no1 did that we know. So what I wanna know is, Winners, when did u get ur reply, and how did u get it? did they e-mail u or what? and how long after the 10 minute time frame u were in did u get it?

i am pretty sure that the 72 hours is like 3 buisness days so i dont think the weekend are figured in there.

There is a difference (I've decided) between a newbie and a n00b. and here is the difference:
A n00b is someone who is relativly experienced with the subject matter and still does something so stupid it hurts to think about
A newbie (such as myself) is someone who is not at all experienced or has very little experience twards the subject matter.
I created an account soley for the previous post with the phony e-mail adress displayed.

Hey Mastelly I didn't get my email letting me know that I had won a Xbox360 for like a week after I had won it you can check back on your account also and sometimes it will show up there first to Dam Mountain Dew Rules LOL I didn't have to buy the first Xbox LOL just saved up 500 caps and got it free to LOL

Yep got both Xboxes for free how cool is that :o) even had anuff caps last year to get a card for 12 months of Xbox live from Mountain dew free also !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are giving away a total of 9000 Xbox 360 with the sweeps !!!!!!!!!!!!

well go back and log on and check your account history and see if it's listed there yet like I said I didn't get a email letting me know for allmost a week but I had ordered a T-shirt the week befor and when it's took me to my account after I picked oout the T-shirt I wanted I had a posting telling me that I had won

you know it's a funny thing 99% of all the DEW I drink never has a cap on it with a code and I drink alot of DEW . I got all my caps from work in the break room LOL and last year from my buddys store but he's sold it and now running a store up north from me now :o( I keep sending Dew emails buging them to cup the caps with codes on the 6 packs in walmart LOL

When the contest is over and all prizes have been awarded to the winners they will update the winners boards with the winners first name and their last initial I believe. I found out about this in the Faq. You can also send in a mail request for a full list of the winners and it'll be sent back the day all the contests have ended and prizes have been awarded. So either way you can't find out who exactly won unless it is yourself until the prizes are awarded. And if you don't get a prize when the winners board is updated then in conclusion you didn't win. I still say you try what I told you over the PM. It has almost been a week for me and no account history confirmation. But I still found out that I won.

Ok so yeah I guess me and my friends just wait the rest of the week for the e-mail? they should do the initials thing, that was so much easier, then we would know for sure we won. But ok so I look in my account history and what will it say? this is how it looks right now...

my county showed up on 10/6 at 6:20 and its pretty small so im sure i won....but i havent gotten a comformation yet...is there anyother way to see if you won? Also, there are some counties that have capiltal letters and some do not...for example...i have seen Virginia Beach spelt like that and VA BEACH and Va Beach and virginia beach....how do they get those different spellings??? do you type it in your account from yahoo like that and they just post that up there??? i hate this suspense....thanks!!

Everytime i check this post someone else is winning,
you guys are so lucky, I Just busted my bank pre-ordering one from EBgames lol. $575 Dollars Canadian.! I Think Whatever the price the Xbox360 will be the best Even if it isnt the most powerful system out there.
I wish I was lucky enough to win one of them tho i would always like to say 575 bucks.

@ Linkinpark. Some of the city, states are like that because of how they are in their personal yahoo profile. It'll appear whatever way they have it. Kind of a smart idea, you can change the upper case/lower case but still have the correct spelling and you'll know when you win because your city, state will appear differently for example. Use something like hUstON, TExaS. And it'll appear on the winners board like that and you can verify that you won because you have a unique city, state with caps and that bla. So anyone who hasn't won and is still trying I'd change your personal profile city, state to a unique one using caps and lower case letters. I think this is how it works. I'm not 100% sure though.

see, that is what i was thinking they used...but i was hoping they didnt do that because on the winners board its a lowercase s in salem and on my personal yahoo profile its a upercase S in Salem....has anyone won with the winners board and your yahoo not having the same uper and lowercase leters....i was thinking maybe they give the city and state to someone else who types that in...if they do it the way your saying..then i didnt win...

If they do it that way, that still doesnt help me and my friends. One of us 5 won, but it hasnt told which one of us won yet. We all stuck the same typing for our town, Sun Prairie, WI so that doesnt help... so people that have won how long until it tells us who won? we entered on Friday, is it 3 business days? or what?

Zeebo, I also won on 5 Oct but I still didn't get any confirmation via the website. I ended up calling the 1-877 number and spoke to someone there who was really helpful. Let me know once you received confirmation cause I think we'll get it around the same time.
