I have no idea how to do a scan where you input the freq you want. when i press info it says 347500khz 6887ksps i am on nthell dub and the system info is api ver: 6.00e_E boot ver 8.0 4 feb 08
any ideas in fool proof steps please and thanks
Sorry i forgot to say its the box super any help greatly appreciated thanks
To do a manual scan on a particular frequency, Menu -Installation OK (your provider will be showing top right), down to Manual Scan OK and enter the frequency in Down Frequency for example type 347500 ignore the dot, and press OK, it will bring in the channels on that frequency. They will probably appear at the end of your listings, just re-order in Channel Edit and delete non working channels. Also that version of firmware you have on the box is the first version released there are other's in Eamo's FTA Library, check here for more info >>>>>>>>

As malci said earlier, the 6.00 is an earlier version, flash it with the 6.01 & you should be ok.

Well very pleased for you anyway, and your welcome. :)
EDIT:- I would recommend that you do consider updating your firmware if you have further problems.

No bother, also check all your connections (coaxial, scart etc) are secure. Let us know how you get on alan.

Also has any1 noticed in Telepest area when you do a scan one of the channels say you are using a illigal box or something like that?

Do a factory reset first and then rescan. The "warning" channel is an old trick.

Do you think i can get zee tv back without doing a factory reset? i don't want to lose all my channel setup.
Can some give me the frequency for this channel I programme it in manually?

The only way to get it back without upsetting your channels as you say - is to do a manual scan - the frequency is the same frequency as ZEE Cinema is transmitted on, but unfortunately this does not always work and a Factory Re-Set and fresh Installation is the only way to get it back, which for some reason is the case in relation to Zee TV at the present time.

All of the channels on my b0x (Starview 1) with the $ next to them have gone off (scrambled or bad channel), can anyone help?
I've done a factory reset and scanned the channels again, turned key EMU on but they still don't work.
Can't rememeber the firmware I have on, I think it's 4.xx and I only did it about a month ago or so, so it should be upto date unless there's been one released recently.
TIA!
