i reformated my ipod on my computer and now all i have is an apple screen. and no matter what i do i cant get it to come up on my pc now. i need help!!!!!!

How did you reformatted the ipod threw itunes or as a disk drive under my computer? Things you should try, open itunes, Hold the menu+center button on your ipod until it powers off, once it powers off, press and hold the play+center button until you see a check on your ipod screen, that means your ipod is now on recovery mode, connected to itunes and click restore, this will reformat and reinstall the os on the ipod, just wait for it to finish dont do anything until you see the ok to disconnect icon in itunes.

the computer wont recognize the ipod at all so i cant go through and have i tunes restore it. ive tryed that i tryed to reformat it through my computer and after i did that, thats when it stoped working. ive tryed the reboot thing with the menu and play buttons. i think i killed my ipod to tell you the truth. i just replaced the battery and then i tryed to format it and now all i get is the apple screen. thats it. it wont go any further then that.

i tryed what you sed and it didnt work i held down the menu and middle button for like 5 mins and nothin happend. when ever i connect it to my computer it says device unknown.

ok so my best sugestion take it to apple and see if theres anything they can do, i your last hope. other that getting a new one. Good luck, sorry i wasn't of much help.
