I've tried them under a different branding (Office Depot) and had no issues with them. Are you having problems?

the RICOHJPN is usually top stuff, i have the same ODD the PX-810SA and use Verbatim DVD+R DL with no problem just keep your burn speed at 4x max to be on the safe side

I wasn't concerned with drive compatibility as Plextor has wide media support and good firmware updates. I lied anyway, I've use Ritek D01 not the Ricoh D01's...the D01 confused me. Good luck and happy burning.

I have some Ricoh D01's.. and they are a mixed bunch TBH. Some are great and others are glitchy and jumpy.

You would think Ricoh under their own label would be better than the rebrands, but apparently not. They could have been stored where the light can get at them or been exposed to sunlight.

DL disks are real expensive. Because of problems with the cheaper disks I only burn D/L on Verbs (MIS) now.. Cheapos when you factor in the % of coasters often work out more expensive than Verbs ;) I'm not a fan of high priced disks.. and certainly not a "always use verbatim or ty's" advocate.. just a bit cheap and looking for maximum profits from my burning..Coasters and returns are a direct loss to me.. I always buy my media from a small local shop which has low stock levels.. I know the disks are fresh from the suppliers.

Can you tell me what for disks you're using?

Yes, I had buy those Emtect DVD's for the price for 13,95 euro,-
normal the price is 35,00 euro for 25 stuks.

But those disk are good, I had read too some people's had p[roblem with Verbatim DVD's the shop were those people's but some people's have disk from 2.4 x but the use write speed 8x, that why the get a lot of problem. Today I burn mine thrid Double layer disk it's working good without problem burn speed 2.4 x.

I was wondering if there are more people's here that have that burner from Plextor 880 A and what for medium the use?
