Can you tell me what are best quality ipod 120g video formats? I want to know best bitrate, resolution and is it h.263 or mpeg4. Is max bitrate 2500 or 1500kbs?
I have very much space left and i want only the best quality...

Essentially the higher the bitrate, the better the quality will be. I think the ipod classic can only handle 320x240 in mpeg4 format. However in h.263 the highest is 480x640.

This is what is on Apple's website which i think will give you the most definitive answer:

Quote:
H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats.

Most converters will automatically use a specific bit rate and resolution, however, if you use videora you can tweek it to convert the videos 640x480 this will give you good video, also if you ever connect your ipod to a tv, you will get a much clear picture. good luck.
