I have a 30 gig ipod video someone gave me, they said they accidently put it through the washer and then their dumb ass turned it on. Now it doesn't turn on anymore, i hooked it up to the computer and have dawn resets, which causes it to go through a constant cycle of clicking and lighting up, if its shorted its not repairable right?

edit: now its just white and sometimes makes clicking noises when i press the buttons
