PS3 Blu-Ray and YDL 6.1

I have an 80Gb PS3 upgraded with a 500Gb hard drive.

I have YDL 6.1 using the latest ISO that fixstars has.

My YDL is installed on the rather low 10GB otherOS partition.

what im trying to do is create an image/iso/dump of my BD movies and convert them to either AVCHD or h.264 so that i can rebuild my media server to include my BD movie collection, which is only 10movies ATM, and view them on through my PS3 as i am very anal-retentive about my discs.

Sadly, my Gateway 7805u laptop is very capable... but no BD drive, and i dont want to spend another $200 on an already $1300 laptop.

I tried doing the "dd if=/....." line in the terminal, but i forgot i only had so little space that it filled up my linux partition and left me with error messages constantly popping up that i had no choice but to reinstall YDL.

What command line would i need to input, to create an image/iso/dump of my BD movie to my external hdd?

i've been referred to use SAK, but im clueless how to use that, and quite frankly, i already have YDL installed so i want to use that.
