Come on now folks dont be shy. We need more people in our IRC channel. And when you come in, TALK!!! dont just pop in then leave in 5 minutes. Stick around, strike up a conversation, or just idle who cares, just come in!! If you have broadband, it is your duty to come and be a part of our channel. 56K users are welcome too, but the broadband people have no excuse for not being there 24/7. Whats really not fair on us about that channel is every time we get a good amount of users something fucken bad happens. Like for example, we were on liquidirc with a nice crowd and out of nowhere the network started getting Dossed so we couldnt connect for weeks, we moved to addictz, got a nice crowd the other day and then netsplit nightmares again for about 30 hours! lol So everytime we get the users wo lose them to no fault of our own!
of course we want new users in the channel, and you can actually have conversations with people even. not everyone idles, it just seems that way when no one is around, which comes in spurts.
It has livened up a lot lately. I was helping four people simultaenously out of nowhere with completely different things today! That post Dela made in Forum News and Announcements has already helped, great idea. Loner came in, and then proceeded to bring in at least two of his friends - that's the spirit!!! So come on in, even you lurkers, everyone has a place on the channel.
