just burned it using AnyDVD 6599 but again when it plays either now on the DVD player on my P.C. it shows the ending at the chapters are all mixed up.
This seems to be a tough one to backup

Just so everyone understands anytime there is structural protection you must first rip files to hard drive then import them into shrink should get a perfect backup. So for anyone that is wanting the benefits of using dvd shrink be sure to rip files to hard drive than import and backup as usual.

The link to that version of AnyDVD is no longer working but I have the trial to 6.6.0.0. It should still work right?
I opened it up and this is what it says:
AnyDVD is scanning the disc!
The disc you have inserted will be available shortly.
Please wait!

Is this what I should see? Should I still be waiting? If not, now what do I do?

Hi i was Successful copying the movie UP by using 2 programs running at the same time for some reason Fabdvd didn?t read the disc alone but when I left both programs running 1 click DVD copy and Fabdvd 6.2.0.2 and both read the disc. I used fabdvd to convert and very successful. (Use Main Movie for copying)

I made a 1:1 backup copy of UP using AnyDVD 6.6.0.0. I then burned the files(5.27gb) to a Double Layer disc using DVD Fab.
Watched the backup copy last night and it is perfect.
I usually make 1:1 backups of the movies I really like. Others I usually shrink to fit on a Single Layer DVD.

DVD Fab 6.1.2.5 made a 1:1 backup of The Ugly Truth for me perfectly.

areamike : Why did U waste a Dbbl layer, when a single would have done.
Compression would not been that much difference
U could have run it through DVD Rebuilder

I guess I'm kind of anal about it. Compression would have been at about 80% quality.
I guess you're right, I could have just done single layer.

Which is even good Quality on my 50in Screen
I can see doing a large movie like the Harry Potters, or anything over 2hrs..But not Animations, the Quality loss is NILL, the cost is a KILLER

Yup, the process, using AnyDVD 6.6.0.3, is correct, just follow these steps:
-Open AnyDVD 6.6.0.3, read the disc, then use "Make rip DVD video to hard disk"
-Then open it in DVD Shrink, analyze and backup in ISO.
-I personally use Alcohol 120% to burn the movie.
And that's the way I use and I play it in my DVD Player and it's all good, well this is the process that Paschal93 posted.

Did the movie "UP" with DVDFAB 6205, played it and worked fine! Also this DVD has no menus, this is the first one I seen like this. Is this a new thing with Disney DVDs or other DVDs? Weird thing I thought there was something wrong with DVDFAB until I played my original copy on my home DVD player and there it was, no menus. It plays the previews/bonus stuff in the biginning and then the movie starts.
