If you charge a FEE, it can't be nothing.
You've been a busy boy elsewhere too. LMAO

I have read the 4 pages on this subject and I am still unable to make a good back-up of this movie Up. I purchased my copy from Blockbuster Video and it was originally a rental copy.
I have down loaded the most resent free version of DVDFab and tried both 6218 and 6220. with pathfinder off and I tried titles 21,50, 51 and 57. Choosing movie only,my target in all attempts has been my hard drive. I then went to DVD shrink and re- author where I was unable to bring the movie over to the left side of the page. I gave up on the re author mode and discovered I could get it using the file button. It played fine with-in the shrink program and I transferred it to a disc. Playing the disc on my dvd player proved to be a different story. There is a minute or so missing ,2 or 3 minutes into the film. And the biggest problem was I could not fast forward the disc. It freezes when I attempt to fast forward and crashes the DVD player. For this reason I can't say if the rest of the movie would play properly.
So perhaps this disc can't be back-up. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I appreciate your efforts to help out. However as I mentioned in my post I have already tried 6.2.2.0 and it would not work on this movie.

@Rick6
Take out your wallet and go to slysoft.com and cough up what ever they are asking and BUY AnyDVD and your problems will be solved forever. And I'll bet Saw VI will be no problem first day-tomorrow- for AnyDVD and whatever your recoding proggy may be, Free or Paid!
Just remember the next post you see where someone is having trouble with AnyDVD; they're few and far between.
I might add that you should both keep, and update, your DVDFab Decrypter as the backup code breaker. I have both paid versions and the only movies I haven't been able to do, are those that are so totally scratched that my pizza reader, LG, can't read.

I forgot to mention that, if ye do buy AnyDVD, then your backing up of DVDs will become more monotonous as it is no longer a challenge. Saw movies have been the latest standards in the most dfficult dvds to rip.
We get SawVI tomorrow.

OK...Try this on a diff PC ( I been having problems like yours before.... since you are playing with the same "Prefech" internal set-up. My solution: I have others 3 PC's on the side )....maybe your friend house PC or next door pal or girl PC's.
Good luck !

It will do ALL the movies. Go to slysoft and download the program for 21 day trial(full program) No learning curve. It sits in you task bar and runs in the back ground.

You got to be kidding. I don't work for anyone but myself. No commissions here. You asked for good info. I gave it to you. You stated you already tried DVDFAB decrypter. The only other GOOD alternative is AnyDVD. I would have mentioned FAB, but you could not get that to work. Now maybe someone else can hold you hand and get it backed up for you.
I have paid for both Fab and AnyDVD-no regrets
You can try it FREE for 3 weeks.Duh!
