Ok I told you the "0x8025" error is that you either have a slim that blocks the system from pandorizing the battery, or you have batteries that can't be pandorized.
You won't be able to softmod any battery if you have the TA-085v2 slim

As for your corrupt memory sticks, try formatting with the psp and then try to install the mms again.

I definitely DONT have that TA-085v2 slim, it has been used to pandorise my battery before and one of my batteries was once pandoized but i get the same error

the mem sticks are not corrupt either cause they are original and the formatting thingy didnt help

Conclusion : This guide does not work(very small chances to that) or my psp is mutated (haha)

VERY nice guide, one of the best i have seen but i guess i'll just have to buy a pandorized battery, but the sellers here are brain dead....... 200($50 approx) saudi riyals for a modded battery.!!!!

anyways thanks for helping (or trying to) Will buy magic memory and pandora battery online tho.

MAJOR MISTAKE:

I followed this guide.

It gives me a thumbs up (every thing goes fine). The guide says if u get this screen (he mentioned it) everythings fine. I am now waiting after following it and up in my xmb with the pandora battery n memory inserted.

The question is i use 5.00m33-6 and used "Hellcat's Pandora Installer for 3.xx". Until now nothing went wrong and no bricks :). I am afraid if i used the battery made by this program to install cfw, I might get a brick. Please help

((((( IS SOMEONE STILL CHECKING ON THIS GUIDE??? I HOPE SO!)))))

Ok first that video has nothing to do with this guide.

If you have a problem not related to this guide then don't post it here.
Now which program are you talking about for the battery, from this guide or the video.

You said you tried to use the battery installer, and get an error.

Then you said you will buy a pandora battery, so I don't understand your problem.

As your comment didnt help me about pan3xx, I decided to just go with it n it worked fine!

Anyways my problem is solved so I wont bother u anymore.

@larry~keep up the nice work! tho it did not work for me, it was a GREAT guide.

@ smokyrain-try to help others with your knowledge whether it is related to the guide or not cause hitting a few buttons wont hurt once in a while :-/

Okay binkie7 i changed my sig. Thanks for reminding!

btw just for info that 0x8025 error was due to the currupt data (it seems) that was solved by re-downloading the files & it worked. modded my psp again to confirm the guide.

@ smokyrain - sorry for giving you so much trouble for such a stupid fault

I have a 1.50 PSP that was downgraded from 2.71.
Could I use that and this method to downgrade a 3.52 TA-082 PSP?

Some Questions:

If i convert my memory stick to a "magic" memory stick and my battery to a pandora battery.. will i be able to revert them back?

Also while their converted will thye have any sort of negative effect on my 5.00 m33-4 psp?

Lastly will i have to downgrade my 5.00 back to 1.50 or will the 1.50 files i need still be available to me without downgrading?

Thanks In Advance ~.

Yes, just follow the tutorial exactly word for word

Also while their converted will thye have any sort of negative effect on my 5.00 m33-4 psp?

NO there won't be any negative effect while your only using that psp to make the mms and pandora battery.

Lastly will i have to downgrade my 5.00 back to 1.50 or will the 1.50 files i need still be available to me without downgrading?

You don't need to downgrade first, you can just install the 3.71 and then add the updates and yes if you have a FAT PSP you can install the 1.50 addon for the corresponding firmware

Thanks In Advance ~.

Ty but concerning the last question..

I have CFW PSP with 5.00 m33-4
I also have a Original 3.52 TA-082..

..I noticed that the downgrade requires a PSP with 1.50 firmware. Im wondering do i need to downgrade my 5.00 to 1.50 as a requirement or will the 5.00 work in its current state because its had 1.50 firmware previously installed (1.50 >> .. >> .. >> .. >> .. >> 5.00 ;; using the software from the nonstop upgrader)

What exactly are you wanting to do.
I gather its install 3.71 to your Original 3.52

If yes, then you don't need to downgrade anything. Where are you reading that.

All you need to do is follow the guide, create your mms, create a pandora battery using your psp with the 5.00 m33-4
Then use the Pandora battery and mms on the psp you wish to install on.
Then follow the instructions to return your battery to normal and you can then format your mms with the psp.

It sounds like a flash 1 problem. You could try restoring default settings
or go to Recovery menu and then go to advanced and pick the option format flash 1 it should give you the blue screen of death and all you have to do is press o and then try to install the update

Or I would do a nand restore using the pandora menu

Then try installing 3.71 m-33 again

Yes if you dumped your nand by pressing "square"

Then in Pandora menu, restore nand.

Then using Pandora install the 3.71 again and try the update

I got an issue going on, for the longest time, I had my PSP's memory stick booting two ipls using Booster's Multi Ipl Loader. Recently, like a fool, I downloaded the 5.03 Official Firmware using the Update on the PSP (I forgot to change from Official to Custom using the Recovery menu). Luckily, I remembered that my battery is still a Jigkick, using it in cases just like these. The DOS file included with Multi Ipl Loader installs the ipl code onto the memory stick but now I'm recieving an error stating "Check partation Sector; Can't read partation sector". Anyone know what's going on? I'm running the Windows 7 beta, and formatted the memory stick using the PC and PSP and still nothing. My memory stick isn't a fake, and it supports MagicGate.

You could try following the steps in this thread under "Option 1" if you are still on 3.52 CFW
Just upgrade to 3.52m33-4 , then you should be able to update to the latest 5.00 m33-6
