Hi, i've scanned through this page, every other page, and no one else seems to be having this problem?

I have no trouble installing, or anything.

However, when I ran the Wiigator launcher, it refuses to boot my GC game. It just gives me an error.

Also, on the wii menu for wiigator, it says that if you need to, you can hold select after pressing start to change settings..that doesn't work for me?

Thanks a lot for any help :]

Question!

1. Is it possible to use Zelda twilight Princess (Gamecube) instead of the wii version?

2. After you do this, do you need to keep the Zelda Twilight princess game?

Nintendo released a new Firmware where u can load from sd card Click Here and Check the second Post has a reference to homebrew . Does anyone knows if we can update to new firmware, if the 3.3 and 3.4 fix will work ? , if the IOS will be able to install, and we will be able to load wii and GC backups.

Only Wii version can be used.

I have updated the guide to include 3.4 work around which is at the end of the guide. Make sure you have done the first part of the guide before doing any of the 3.4 steps.

The described procedure does no longer works with newer firmware. My firmware is version 4.0E, dating from about a week ago. It is the one which allows to store Channels on the SD card, this is the reason I've installed it.

My Homebrew channel still works fine, but the downgrade to IOS36-64-v1042.wad doe not work. Any attempt to install a wad file using Wad-installer of Wad-Manager fails with the Error 2012. I suppose for now I'll have to wait for new versions of these nice tools with workarounds to come out.

okay so i followed the october 23rd fix and did everything it says.....My wii plays original and backup games without a problem. By the way im running 3.4U if you havent figured it out yet. But my questions is.......Why did i get error 002 when i loaded a backup copy of madworld? I have been reading for several days now and i keep seeing people talk about "error 002 fix". They say i must replace the old .dol for the wiigator loader with a rev7 type .dol then rename it to boot.dol. Is this somehting new or did the bundle of apps that i downloaded from the gba "october 23rd fix" not included it? How new is this "error 002 fix"? Please help. Thanks!

Im new, so bear with me!

If you used the files I have linked you shouldn;t get the #002 error.

I have included cIOS36_rev8 plus the a Backup Launcher that should patch the #002 error. So make sure you are using the newer files that I have updated.

fiber........Okay so if it came out 3 weeks ago i didnt get it on my first time around. So i went up to your link and downloaded the files (again) i have the two folders (3.3 firmware & 3.4 firmware), i opened the 3.4 folder, opened the apps folder and now i see cios36_rev8. I opened that folder and i see 2 files in there (boot.dol and the meta.xml). What do i do next? Do delete the boot.dol from my backup launcher and replace it with the new boot.dol or do i need to do something else? Also will this only work for the launcher inside the homebrew channel or will it also work for the wiigator launcher channel? Thanks for your help!

Im new, so bear with me!

Just follow the steps in the guide over again (start at Installing WiiGator Backup Launcher 0.3 gamma).

The cIOS36_rev8 will be installed over the older cIOS I had.

I don't have a dol Backup launcher file anymore in the pack. Just install the wad Backup launcher channel I have included.

If you don't want to install the channel and want to stick with the dol file then just use the dol file you previously used. It should boot the game without the #002 error since you have updated to cIOS36_rev8 which patches the #002 error.

I followed the steps for gamecube support. i can get one game TLOZ wind waker to work, but all other gamecube games get either a disk error and the screen locks up and becomes green.

I have tried using both the backup loader WAD channel and going through the homebrew channel backup loader. both are doing the same thing.

any fix for this?

Okay so if we are not supposed to upgrade to the newest version, why does the guide say to? It didn't say upgrade to 3.4, it said the newest version, which is 4.0 now, and as of a couple weeks ago when I was told this. So am I screwed now that I upgraded to 4.0? I can still run my original wads installed on the channels from the wad manager, but now nothing new will install on the wad manager, so I can't install any fix files. I read the thread on here, which said nothing about what to do if you upgraded and you don't have the ios8rev. Please point me in the right direction

The fix guide does say to install to newest firmware. I have no control over that guide. All I can do is place a warning saying not to update to latest 4.0 firmware untill you have installed the cIOS. Which if you had read the complete guide first before doing any of it you would have seen the warning for 4.0 firmware that states already to make sure you have cIOS36_rev9 installed.

Just for info

I had rev 8 THEN upgraded to 4.0 - and wads install and uninstall PLUS can be transferred and run off the sd.

Im unsure what rev 9 does - is there a point to install rev 9?

Is there a way of checking to see what version of cIOS I currently have installed?
