"If you have previously installed cIOS37 due to an older Backup Launcher version you will need to uninstall it."
So, if I've ever ran the Twighlight softmod on my Wii, I now have cIOS37 installed? If so, can I still use BannerBomb with this installed, since I don't have the Homebrew Channel and thus no means of uninstalling it?

If so, can I still use BannerBomb with this installed, since I don't have the Homebrew Channel and thus no means of uninstalling it?

Ok, I have read through the both guides since my system's firmware is 3.4u. My only question, since it wasn't stated in the what I need section, is the "Zelda Princess Twilight" disc?
Are the linked files the only ones I need? I am getting the disc from my friend just in case.
Thanks and awesome guide!

This guide is flawless! It is the Holy Grail of Wii softmodding; the internet is littered with the pleas and cries of those who sought and failed!
Furthermore, I haven't found a game it's failed on yet....even Pikmin 1&2 which didn't work on taichou's system.

All files are included except for IOS36-64-v1042.wad which you do not need if you use WiFi when install;ling the cIOS36_rev9.
Just read the directions and your good to go.

I have a Japanese Wii, and just wondering if the HBC install instructions will work on my console?
and if not, what do i need to do to install? i would also like to change the menu langauge to english. if i can install HBC via the instructions in this thread, do i use Any Region Changer afterwards?
PS: i have a modchip installed, not sure which one though.

Yes it works on JAP Wii. As for the anyregionchanger question start a new thread topic and ask for help.

Hi - after which part do I stop on this guide
http://yafaze.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=113
Do i do the 'Further Step' section?
1. I have a brand new Wii I bought a few days ago, so I believe it is on 4.0.
If I do the 'Further Step' - do I come back and then follow your steps from:
Installing WiiGator Backup Launcher 0.3 gamma?
I want to be able to play backups, and some emulators, plus have the ability to use the USB Loader.
Thanks!

I read your reply - so how did you end up with two channels?
Is following the steps for Yamaze sufficient if I'm on 4.0
Was it you doing all the steps there including 'Further Steps' then coming back to the guide here what caused you to have two channels?

If you have the Homebrew Channel installed you could always update using WiFi to 4.0 and then use this guide HERE. to fix the limitations and get homebrew back on the Wii.
Other then that I think Mario Galaxy has 3.2 firmware.

Alright I just checked in Wii Settings and I have Version 3.4u
Now I'm confused as to which part of the guide to use to install the homebrew channel and program to play backups.
I don't have the game Zelda.
