guys,
can anyone tell me why i get 'sorry connection to server refused' when i try to get cccam from addons. it is happening with both my server box and client. the client box crashed and i had to reflash it. the network settings are as they were, and port 12000 is open on router.
in network setup Nameserver is 89.101.160.4 i think this is how its always been, is nameserver the same as dns or is it ip of nablio site for downloads?
everything has been running fine up until today for the last six weeks or so, the server box has not had any changes made to it.
DCC is still able to see both boxes and ftp is working, im at a loss. any help would be great.

many images have withdrawn support for downloading cams. connection refused means that nabilo site is currently down. try again in a few days

of course. however doublecheck couple things. try and download a skin. if you get connection refused that confirms that the nabilo site is down or your connection to the nabilo server is requesting from the wrong ip. also ensure when loading an addon that it has filetype nab.gz, otherwise that addon is not built for your system. if you find the correct addon just put it in /tmp and then install using remote control

hi fintannl and other fellow members.. heard a wisper today, sly are working on something,
to K'O all cards running with CCcam they will have put an end to c/s for good since there is no further support for CCcam, aswell as newcamd... oscam looks the way to go now ... no idea when this will happen or how true it is..

ok, i can't d/l anything from addons, so i need to find cccam 213 on internet with nad.gz extension?

can you give me more info on this
site is down or your connection to the nabilo server is requesting from the wrong ip.

what is nameserver in communications setup reffering to? is it DNS or nabilo ip?

sorry for all the questions but i really need the first one answerded.

jondalar i do hope is say nab.gz file extension. pudzy behave yourself. yes there are some assertions. and yes members are concerned. and yes oscam does work. in truth sky3 is a very krap channel. many images failing on cccam and yet others are clearing. so if you have issue on this do respond but your concerns are being considered

Folks I have a problem, maybe im being stupid and dumb but im gonna post my problem here as I hate pming wise folk with my problem annoyin them etc etc:

Basically I want to install ccam on my dreambox manually because the nab site is down and im at the stage where in dcc im transferring the ccam file over to the dms500. i go
into the FTP in dream control centre and double click on tmp file, and bring the ccam file, from the right to the left ie from the pc/lap top to the dreambox , this all went ok.... but over when i press the yellow button on the dms500 remote twice, nabilo add ons, go to manual install and press the ok button it says " nothing to install. You have to download a package before to install addons"
I downloaded the file from Piopats signiture. Surely it should work. Its driving me crazy.
Everything is connected perfectly im sure, and the thick green line still exists in dcc.
I wonder is my problem the cccam file???

Just a word of thanks to piopat for all his help so far, I reckon im missing something but dont know what.

Thanks again

as fintann advised nabilo addons manager is down (i dont know why )this means at the minute you cant install cccam as i advised at the start of this tutorial. as fintann said above download cccam_2.1.3_nab.tgz and then use dream control center to ftp it to the tmp/ file in your box .then press yellow button twice (as i suggested in my tutorial ) but a slight change is you highlight manual install panel and press ok button ,then select cccam to install and install it . once its installed (it takes only seconds ) exit back to the tv channels and then press the blue button and set cccam as your default cam as i described earlier in this tutorial ,after that put in your c line as per the tutorial . of course you can change the image and use pli .

don't use gemini but should be an option via blue button and maybe software management and then manual install

jhammer, the manual install of plugins is in every package. play and find. if it is not in blue button then it is in 'menu'. it can't be that hard to find

thanx jack,
Okay, my pc has 2 network cards. So can I now disable the network card (same as shutting pc down i guess) which was set up with static ip connecting to my servers router. My other network card is connected to a seperate modem and router and i want to enable this so i can browse internet, download etc without affecting the performance of connection on my dm500 server setup
Just to clarify things, I have 2 modems and 2 routers( they have different ip addys)

no, your box must be capable of handling requests 24/7. the router does not supply responses only a path for the responses. so as answer yes you need your server available 24/7
