i dont have those channels my self so i cant say anything for certain ,have you set up parental controls on the dreambox ? (are you being prompted to enter your pin number ?) if you put your pin into cccam.cfg try taking it out . the movie channels have a pin restriction in the day time (on a sky box) but the pin does not apply on a dreambox im pretty sure the adult channels have a pin number on the sky box at night but i would have thought like the movies they wouldnt need a pin number to open them on a dreambox .

Hi fin. Hope you're ok. I don't suppose you'd have any idea about the playboy/adult situation. Background - subscribed service, I get channels on sly box but nothing on dm800. All other sub channels work fine. I get the adult freeviews but not sub service - just blank screen.
I've gone through the stuff that pio stated and still no joy. I've tried it with and without PIN in cccam file and disabled parental control.
I'd really appreciate your help.

balcee, have you sports or films on your subscription. if you have, and can see them, then i', lost as you need the proper boxkey to watch these channels. if you dont have them then its very obvious you have a faulty cccam.cfg as your boxkey is incorrect. reality is that if you subscribe to a channel and it is not available means your boxkey is wrong. ppv channels work on all linux machines

It's really baffling me :-/ yes all other channels work fine on the dm800, HD as well. I ordered the fight on primerime last week and that came up fine. The only ones not working are adult and sky box office. Boxkey is right as sports, movies are working.
Out of ideas at the mo :-(

Well just as i thought things was going smoothly Lol.
I have read into all this fascinating stuff that much the last few days and took that much information in i think it's a case now of information overload. I can't think straight at the moment.
I'm sorry to have to ask a couple of questions if that's ok. I just need a little poke in the right direction. I apologise in advance because the same questions have prob been asked many times and i can understand piopat and fintinnan getting pissed off.
Ok here goes!
After piopat's reply to my last post me and a mate managed to get the internal cardshare server and client up and running relatively easily. Both boxes cleared all the channels in the subscribed package. Excellent!
Onto the external cardshare and things not so smooth....sigh!
Here is a copy of the CCcam.cfg f/c lines.
Also a dyndns hostname has been set up.
Box with the card in = F: example example1
Box without card in = C: somename.dyndns.org 12000 example example1 (with dyndns updater running.)
Boxkey command is in CCcam.cfg of the Box with the card.
All i can think of is: port 12000 isn't open?
Commands missing from both Server and Client configs?
Any help will be gratefully received.
Thanks.

So you think people should re-type out information that has been posted over and over on this forum, just because you are too lazy to go and look for it ??
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Eureka!
Solved the problem :)
When i was at my mates yesterday sorting the external share stuff out i was doing it all through my own Laptop.
On the phone for ages today trying different things to no avail....i had set it all up through my Laptop and not his. As soon as we forwarded 12000 on his PC everything fell into place.
Great Stuff....I love it :)
Wouldn't of had a clue about any of this without piopat's tutorial and help as well as fintannl and all the others who posted with help and advice.
Cheers all.
My next step is finding out what certain things are and what they do. I.e Hops....Reshares....emm's.... etc.
Laters all.

damo click on this link its port tool from dyndns
http://www.dyndns.com/support/tools/openport.html
where it says host and port type in your dyndns host name and then the port number you opened and click on send . that will tell you if your port is open ,if it says the port is not open you will have to re check your router settings .also make sure to set the routers firewall level to low ,its easy to miss some thing and even if its a very small thing it can cause you problems and really the only sollution is to check and re check. dont be afraid to ask any questions mate we are here to try and help .
