nope, millions spent on Tetra, using you scanner for tetra would be like trying to pick up sky channels with rabbit ears!

best thing to do is get your hands on 1 of there talkies,
just don't push the panic button like my stupid friend did,
he was dragged from the house 10 mins later.
he was warned not to press it but it got the better of him.

Well, It was great while it lasted. But fret not everyone, there are other options out there:
* If you have access to a satellite (Ideally a big one with a motorised dish), there are plenty of options for obtaining HD footy and what have you... Some even legal ;)
For example, and after doing some homework, point a large (Ideally 2.4 Metre if in Dublin) dish at Nilesat 7 West and you (just might) pick up Showtime arabia - 5 live PL matches this Saturday & Sunday!! Pay subscription service but so is NTHell..... And on our usual satellite, Astra 28.2e, for example, 80% of Magners League matches are free on BBC2 Wales and S4C. Not to mention the odd bit of CL and international footy coming up.
* Not sure how Analogue TV is set up these days but in my house, we somehow get Setanta Sports Ireland through the regular antenna - There's a free Saturday 3PM match. And it's free on Basic NTHell digital too.
* If all else fails, There is always the Internet with sites streaming live matches and the likes of Sopcast. I've never found it to be too watchable though (Unless I'm doing something wrong). I personally recommend satellite - There is a lot of quality on the continent in amongst all of the GOD channels and what have you.
Just out of interest, how many people here intend to cancel their NTL basic subs? It's crazy for me to say this but even Sly are better that NTHell. That's just plain bad. Anyway, my point is - Dont panic! I'm sure the dodgy boxes will be back in some form in the future.
Also, while AD is hardly shutting down or anything, just want to thank Scouser and everyone on After dawn for all of their help getting me TV over the last couple of years. :D
Does feel like an ending for now though.

It'll never be the 'end'. I'm sure there'll be an answer to our probs eventually so in the meantime an alternative will have to be found. Nilesat is quite expensive for showtime I would have said and thats quite a large sat to be sticking on the side of your gaff! But you can find very good high quality streams on internet if you check about on match day, I always manage to find a perfect quality one with no glitches just gotta look a little. You could also go for a smaller motorised dish for all the football. Quite straight forward and a good laugh setting it all up!

My sports and movie channels are gone as well. Stream info = 1802

The last page lists what games are on and what you can watch them on.
Just click the blue link of the player you have installed or if you want to watch it in your browser.
Remember its P2P so the more people watch the better.

in dublin south still down so i now have a box super with nothing at all
a box super usb movies are gone sports are gone all the rest are still there had a feeling this was going to happen in aug sept and i was right next q is i also have a dish with the s*y box and a card thats been cancelled i only sub to the card had all the rest any ideas to get it up again pms pleas to keep it all above board if i gat a decent solution i wil pass it on to any one who wants it

If you mean UPC, Then yes gradually like they did with N2.
Sky via Sat use NDS, never been hacked full stop.
