As a normal member you feel the need to defend these suppliers in such a way says it all, you are relentless and your cause in their defense explains everything ;) I dont feel the need to help you dig any further as you seem to be doing that by yourself.

Totally agree, lets hope these "good suppliers" show and stand by those who have made them what they are today rather than taking advantage of people then disappearing when it comes to refunds :).

If companies like e45's are as straight as they claim then they'll have no problem accepting boxes for refunds up to 7 days after delivery, no questions asked.
Here's Consumer Direct's advice:
Goods bought on the internet, over the phone, by mail order or through a TV shopping channel ... give you seven working days after delivery to change your mind and ask for a refund. Be aware though that retailers can make a reasonable charge to cover return shipping costs.

I´ve cracked it! Simply take N2----->Add 1------>and Hey Presto!! I´m gonna put this into the USB port on my SV4 and I´ll let you know how I get on lol......

Any company enforcing the software clause in the warranty would be treating its customers like idiots.

As new to this Forum have 2 Eurovox one with Hard Drive and think the Eurovox 5000 PVR is a great bit of Kit and better than a DVD.
I was reduced to 13 channels but still able to record from local channels then bought the Krytview and all channels were available
this was 4 weeks ago. I knew the possibility was there the channels would go again. Sunday last got the software to upgrade the Eurovox and all channels are back until yesterday the usual Sky channels went again. However, I do not think I would expect the UK supplier to take them back I am happy to carry on as before and wait to see if it can be cracked again.

Anyone that has ordered a box that hasn't been sent yet should be able to cancel their order online. I'm not so sure what will happen with boxes that have been delivered or are in transit.

Just been on to skywonder. They posted a box out to me yesterday afternoon. Although I haven't received it yet, they say there's nothing they can do. Oh and they are expecting a fix to be here sometime soon! I'm not holding my breath though.

Where are people getting the idea that they will get a refund from any of these internet companies (no names needed). Its rediculas to think that you would be offered a refund because NThelL have moved to Nag3! Forget it - it ain't gonna happen!
Funny that the same people who are giving out about these companies are probably the same people who are buying these boxes in bulk and selling them on making a min ?50 on each box. Now are they gonna offer all of their customers full refunds? Or are they gonna 'change their phone numbers' as was quoted in other threads... Pot - Kettle - Black!
Those who got greedy and bought a large number of these boxes in order to make a profit from persons who aren't 'in the know' deserve to get stung at this time...

Just ordered Kryptview from eurovox.org on saturday for start of the season. Got an email yesterday to say its been dispatched. RAGING!!!!! Still hasnt been delivered to me yet but im crossing my fingers that they'll refund it seen as I obviously havent had chance to put any software on it. According to their website this is their refund policy;
Refunds
We only accept returns if the cable boxes are in their original state(sealed) and untampered with. The boxes are sold as Free to Air boxes. If any returns are found to have software on them allowing them to decrypt subscription based channels we have the right to deny any warranty and deny a refund as the terms and condition mentioned herewith have been broken. Modified boxes will not be accepted back.
Emailed them this mornin about a refund but still waiting to hear back

Don't accept delivery???
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??
