Garry2005 & JaneyMack, thanks for the replies. I got in touch with the supplier and they've agreed to a replacement without any hassle (thanks Ian from Bubble) so hopefully the new one will flash without any problems.

Has anyone got a text from Ch^rus saying "We recently sent you a new Digital card. Please reply DONE to this text if you have successfully swapped your card. No Charge applies. Thank you.

you dont have to, that is only to let them know you got your card that's all, i myself would not bother telling them either way.
Leave them guessing !!!

i realised i wasnt on the eurovox forum so posted it here as this is were i normally posted.

Try replying with "BITE ME" instead to see what happens, whatever card you get or firmware upgrade you get for your digital receiver will make no dif to your evox at all, until obviously N3 is fully rolled out.

i can see this site going mad when they roll it out all the novices will be out can i get the new keys for chorus, im getting this error please help how can i fix it LOL

I live in dublin and have a eurovox ex 1000 sl i had no stations tried all the new flash software none worked. then i went back to old flash software 1.0 now i have all channels. but not movies or sports.NAGA 2 FIX EX1000 SL IRELAND

The storm has already passed a few months ago as they've already rolled it out.
You're one of the lucky few still on cho*us so enjoy it.

i stay in the east coast of scotland t**west area at the start of the week it seems that the codes started to roll and 2 eurovox boxes that i updated with the latest firmware months ago couldn't roll the codes the people that have the boxes have to manually update the codes. my own box has the message "please insert smart card " when i change channel message changes to " codes updating please wait " this takes about 10 mins to update codes then all is fine. just wondering if anyone else having the same problem ? strange thing is that the 2 boxes that no longer auto roll are the same as mine and are on the same provider in the same area as me. any ideas anybody ?

go to your menu system info and put what firmware you have on your box on here also the date of it

firmware was updated last year when codes didn't auto roll like i say my box is fine just a bit slow in updating codes but other two boxes won't auto roll and they have same firmware all 3 are eurovox blue
model : DVB-XC BOX STV
S/W VER : 1.0 SSC4 JUN 01 2007
H/W VER : 2.0S
BOOTSTRAP : V002
it says june 2007 but it was definately done last year with latest firmware

Most days this week I've been getting 'Please wait ... code being updated' message(belfast area). Not just for a second or 2 but sometimes for well over 1 minute. Last time this happened was just under a year ago and we had to manually update and wait for new firmware, just be prepared for excrement making contact with revolving air cooling system. Methinks they like to decommission as many boxes as possible in run-up to Xmas bearing in mind a lot of people don't know how or give up trying to update.

lol they have succeeded, my box has now gone :(
they upgraded Chorus to nagra 3 :(
aw well......i'll drink to it tonight...had a good relationship with it over the years.....it lived a long happy life....died of old age

Steve if i remember correctly your a shannonsider like myself.
Mines fine so far, couple of channels gone but majority still there.
Edit was watching sky sports news and flicked over Sky Sports 1
all GONE GONE :(

No im North Co Dublin.
I can still view Sky Sports news....but all the othe rsky sports channels and ESPN is gone etc !! :(

Hi, can someone point me in the direction of a 'cure' for Nagra 3 please?
Also any suggestions for an alternative use for a Eurovox V box would be welcome.

did u bother yourself to read anything on here there is no fix for nagra dont expect everyone to do your work for you
