I've just loaded the firmware to a Eurovox EX1100USB box, I was surprised that it had to be loaded va a USB flashdrive, which was not a problem, but how do you load the CDF programme file to the box?

There doesn't seem to be any provision for doing it via the flashdrive menu.

It has an input socket for a null modem cable, will it accept a CDF file via that?

VM said they dont have an outage in my area. Its the box I think. It scans for channels nicely, but nothing comes up on TV, not even the freeview channels. Have you ever heard of that sort of problem?
Hi,I am newbie here.

I think I have a problem too.

Recently a lot of my channel appear "service unknown" and i am do re-scan unfortunately lost all my channel.I download the latest new firmware and re-scan but still no channel found.
I am on Euro MaxV 2008, V##Media and in South Yorkshire.

Anyone can help me to make me joy again.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

Im on Chor/NTHELL,

If they have have changed the most popular channels to N3 why havent they continued to do the rest, it seems like a very long time since they changed anything over to N3 since they changed the sports, movies & kids.

Just a ponder... Any input welcome,

Thanks Folks...

Why not be just happy with what you have, im sure the rest will go in time to come, but for the moment, lets hope the longer the better before the switch over is completed.

Oh im very happy with what i have, and 100% agree, long may it last but my question was more directed about what their game plan is since they havent changed anymore over in such a long time.

If i was the boss id of knocked them all out to N3 in one, people would have panicked with no fix for the dodgy boxes and subscribed legit again, so i was just asking what their game was not giving out or complaining.... think you got the wrong end of the stick e45

best off not asking questions like that, all its doing is antagonizing them, and also best to keep them in the dark like what they are doing with you all, that way they dont know, as they get all there info from forums like this and many others, the less info they have the more work they have to do.

Thats a fair point, but if they dont change over completely how will we ever get a chance to get our box's completely back up and running?

To be honest, the encryption they are now using has never been cracked, not even on the Sat scene, for the last 3 yrs, so a hope of a fix is not really on the cards, so until the change over fully enjoy what you have.

If and i say if there is ever a fix, im sure it will be all over the forums, so just check in and have a look.

Bit of a bummer this whole N3 business. It was bound to happen.
So what channels are left on N2? I've been away for a year, came back two weeks ago and flashed the VMax with the latest Firmware and not sure what channels I should be receiving? Any takers?
