It all depends on what channels are switched over to N3. As far as I know there are still some ch*rus areas not fully on N3 yet.
But, if the normal channels are on N3 then you're goose is cooked also I'm afraid.
I don't think it would do any harm flashing the box with the latest firmware though - it would be a way of finding out whats on N3 & whats on N2.

alright fellas , well i still have my box on in the sitting room and the nhell in the bedroom and im hapy with that more channels and a better picture plus the missus can head to bed early and leave me alone , although i miss the sports movies and the other stuff i want sly but am not allowed put a dish up on apartment but have heard about various stuff in which i can get this can somebody point me in the right direction

Please excuse this question as it concerns the digivox XL USB -
I would appreciate any help I can get, the family have me driven mad to restore all the channels!
Which one of the following files is the latest firmware for Dublin N*L
digivoxXLUSB_1.07_091016.bin
OR
Digivoxxl_v1250_apl.bin
...both of which I have downloaded but am not sure if either of them will be better than what I have

this one DigivoxXLUSB_1.07_091016.BIN,and you cant get sports, movies etc back, if you need to ask something, have a search first and try not to jump into someones thread as it drags it off topic.
@ johnny, with out a dish yer pretty much limited to what you can get, cable at present is on the way out, depending where u are we could suggest something

Checking in - am I right in assuming Eurovox Max V (2008) are still fecked and there's still no firmware for them for the Dunlin area?

hi ive been on page one and seen that it has been last up dated last month i did every thing that hitech said on it and got back all my channels but no sky channels is there any thing eles i can do i have the eurovox 1000 any help would be graet???

as advised above, no fixs to get them back nor looking like it, this is across the board on all boxs and on chorus cable and nthell MMDS and cable

the reason you got some of your channels back is because the latest fix is for nagra 2 those channels have not moved to nagra 3 yet there is no fix for nagra 3 an like mickah said not looking like it

First page of this thread has been updated with the latest firmware for the eurovox ex1100 usb, EX1100USB_091106_epg_test.zip
Also packed with loading instructions.
EPG loads quicker per TP but still Beta and some work to be done.
Thanks to the authors and Sc0user for the heads up
To add this is NOT a Nagra 3 fix before anyone asks!

Friend of mine has 2 Eurovox boxes, Max and 1000SL in his home, he lives about 500 metres from me, and I have a PVR5000. We're both in NW England.
He's having a lot of trouble with the signal he receives, which during the day seems to be very weak, and most days he gets messages coming up "Weak or No Signal", although the quality of the signal shows its around 84-86%, nearly the same as I receive, and my box works perfectly.
If he tries it around 2am, he gets a great picture; surely the signal can't be reduced just by the number of people having their boxes on too?
If he connects his "real" box up, that works perfectly, which is even more annoying!! He's even had V****N test the line when the proper box was plugged in, and they said it was fine.
Do I remember correctly the MaxV2008 had a signal boost facility in the box firmware? Or can anyone comment on how he can improve on his situation, very frustrated!!

Hi everyone,
A message from Virgin popped up on my box today saying that if I am using an unauthorised box that I will soon lose all my channels and to phone them to sort it out!
Anyone else had this? Are virgin changing over to N3 too then?

You will find such channels like that, but not to worry, its only there to scare and alert viewers who are recieving pay-to-view tv for free. As for the switch to N3 or a similar encryption, only time will tell.
