Strange one here - updated 60-or so boxes with the new firmware but some boxes dont seem to have flashed correctly - firmware still showing as april 08 - anyone any ideas?

attention HiTeck:
How are ya? hope all well....i remember u advisin me back in april....am in the 6952 mbaud area and have reflashed the box so the channels are back up thankfully....only prob is, the full power scan no longer brings up Setanta channels or anything betwen 423.000 and 435.000....its a shame, coz they are most of the sports stuff....infact, just before the new fixes came out, and when using codes, all those channels showed 'No signal'...my neighbour is experiencing the same....is there anything you can suggest that can bring back those channels? look forward to hearing from you...

Subbed box, is subscribed box, the box provided by the CC (cable company).
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

is it a max V, if so it doesn't show any difference in the system info after flashing this time, hook it back up to the TV and give it a try.

I dont have a subbed box, but the analogue is working fine and the BBand. Any ideas whats happening? Do I need to install that 8% signal fix?

Hi guys. I have a genuine, blue, eurovox 2 and i just updated with the new software. stations are there but there is 3 lights on the front one is standby, one lock and one is message. My problem is the lock button is lit and the remote isn't working now. any suggestion on how to fix. tks

Not really helpful as said it doesn't show in system info once the box is flashed with the latest update. Did the flash go on ok yesterday and did your box update itself? if so do a factory default and powerscan.

just thought i say i am having the same problem as papaq and the others , flashed 3 eurovox maxv boxes today . factory default and power scan and they all seem to be working , but the system info is still saying its the april update lol , so yea i am a bit paranoid.

I think it went on ok, did a factory default and powerscan after update all worked fine. Just did another factory default and powerscan. Now it has gone back to saying 'please wait code updating'
So maybe it didnt go on ok.
Just tried the codes (which i got elsewhere) and its working.. (For Now!!)

hi shels as hiteck has said the sys info doesnt change i was thinking the same mtself but i know other boxes are showing the same so dont worry your box has the current firmware

hi i live in dublin but good friend lives down there on ch-rus and i have reflased a few on n-l up here and am not sure weather it will autoroll down there or even on ch-rus in swords cheers

@ HiTek.
I only have a PVR to check with as the boxes that dont seem to have flashed correctly are back with their owners - the PVR shows new firmware date - the boxes that dont seem to have updated keep saying "please wait, code being updated" - just as before reflash - not sure what version they are as I've shifted 100's of each, blue, red, black and PVR!

o.k. cheers i mean i do think its the latest updates , as its working lol and i have not put any codes in . The are no changes then with say the menu layout , that would point to it being the latest update ?. but yea i have all my channels back so i am happy. thanks to all the ppl on the forum .
