yeah i was informed that the fixes for the two eurovox boxes mentioned were taken from keys hacked from itgate but again thats only hear say as usual

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

I can see Dollar signs appearing the eyes of the certain people who did sell their Granny and her mates a dodgey box for ?250! It used to be a good pastime of the few, to pull one over on the cable companys was great sport, but when it became a business,sorta ruined things for all. Blessed are the Dboxes- Dreambox heroes who conquered all! Who the F**K are Eurovox anyway?

just for the record eurovox are deffo coming out with a new box just got confirmation of a reliable source as he is trying 1 in his house at the moment only 10 channels on it at the moment
he said its only a few teething problems that will be sorted out.

Is there any hope for my EX5000 basically or am I wasting my time? :)
It's so frustrating being in the dark. I'd love to just go and buy a KV now but I'd be gutted if Eurovox brought out a fix for my 2 EX5000's sitting here.

Thats great that eurovox are bringing out a new box,
But unfortunately I can not see myself buying one of these new model's.I think they have shot themselves in the foot as the other makes have shown them the way.
Trouble in the camp or not,this major delay in a fix shows the support can not be relied upon.

dont shoot the messenger lads im not a fan of them myself!! as i have 2 of there boxes, its just so far this thread all day has been a rumour mill, i just tought id put in something that is a fact.

I know how you feel, oh i know the pain all too well, i have been waiting in hope of a fix for my ex5000. If they don't release a fix for this and just for their new models, i will be so pissed, i bought my ex5000 only a month before the ex5100 came out. Not to mention i have a sv3 sitting gathering dust too, being skipped over once sucked, but if it happens twice i might just cry :(

I've had my fingers crossed for a Max V fix for a long time, this thread gives me a shred of optimism. If I ever buy a new box it sure as hell won't be a Eurovox though.

Dont get me wrong,its great that they are bringing out a fix for some box's.
And even better that a member has some knowledge of this in advance.You might save a couple on members a few quid by holding on to what they thought was useless.After all it better late than never to have a fix.
Have you any idea of when to expect these fix's ?

i think the best thing to do with my eurovox's is to sell them on flea-bay, sick wiping dust bunnies off them getting my hopes up every time there is a rumour!

Thats annoying, I'd imagine it would have been one of the best selling boxes, alot of them floating around out there. Like I said, if I ever get another box theres no way in hell it'll be a Eurovox.

@ hooter, not to dwell on it, but it really irks me when someone does that, asks for help and is givin it and then go do it again, makes fools of people and try to deny it
welcome to the starview and digivox gang, only the last box did they update, the rest, which werent to old, got shafted, shows their support alright

yes it will be bad if they don't update the max and older boxes but i don't see any older starviews updated either ,you can blame the guys who sell clones for no updates on older models but am sure any box older than 3 months has paid for itself alex
