I'm new here and I would just like to say a big THANK YOU to e45 for giving regular updates. I'm a member of another site (dk) but there is no one there, it seems, to give regular updates.

I've had a KV a780 for 5 days and it works great. For as long as you keep the premium sports channels working then I'm a happy bunny :)

Keep up the good work

I'm a bit worried about something thats happend today. I split my cable to my kryptview and my pc . Twice the pc just shut down and the net went off. I turned the kryptview off and the pc or the net hasnt going down . seems a bit scary to me. has it happened to anybody else??

Nothing to do with the box if you are using a router and 2 seperate feeds both pc and box have different ip address

yes I am using 2 leads and a router . I was worried it was something to do with NTL sending worms down the line. It was just funny the way the pc just went dead not shut down I mean dead . And the net went down for 30 secs so no tv picture

If you have split your cable then it could be tripping the router out?

Try a new cable to the krypt or swap them over and see the result. Maybe even something so simple as unplug the cables and blow the dust away

Wont be anything serious im sure.

always wondered how it it is possible to cover kv stuff. would guess that some part of upc would buy a kv, analyse the ip network and simples from there.

Hi E45 I am new to all of this stuff. Have been following this thread with interest and I have been very impressed not only with your knowledge but with the way you handle yourself, you are obviously emotionally intelligent. I have now decided to get a Kryptview box. I am a Virgin customer will they be able to trace me using it?

On Luton [0005] SyFy shows as scrambled or no video and has done since the maintainence started. Not too bothered as SyFy+1 is okay.

Also PPV1 & 2 shows up the same even though there's a WWE PPV on-going at the time of writing.

Might be a local problem with the PPV's. Can anyone in the area confirm?

(signal strength is reported as good and constant at 77 - 3 rescans done this week before posting)

Now viewing in HD using the Phoenix/Kryptview A850 box! YIPPIE!

The PPV channels usually broadcast a small infomercial (approx 1/2 hour) repeatedly for a couple of days - like a taster for things to come before showing the main event. Most other times, the channel(s) shows as 'scrambled or no signal'

ppv channels not working wrestling should be on but its showing scrambled or no video although the magnifcent 7 boxing ppv event showed perfectly any one else having this problem?
