you must be scanning on your wrong NET ID get the correct one from you providers box

You mean when I do a network scan the one nearest to me is leeds

get the correct NET ID from your providers box or pick leeds if that is your area only on a network scan and not ALL
you need to factory default the box switch off at back for 30 sec then back on do your scan on NETWORK get the list of net id and pick yours and that is it

I am doing exactly that my freind maybe some one else in my area has the same problem.

the channels mentioned by the guy in glasgow are the ones that need resolving. The ones mentioned by e45 were working. So e45 as you are in the know, how long do you reckon before all the channels are restored?
I haven't heard any complaints by the starview lot about the downtimes lately, all must be good on the other side. They must be glad they aint got a kv box at the moment. as kv box seems to have become a victim of this maintenance problem.

im sure they are still having problems just ran out of steam to post
all channels should be reinstated by this evening all except ADULT ones which will not be back till monday

ooops i missed out for a few days as i do have another side to life. i do take the mysterx point of view. its not about one box. so i've tried the dreambox and they do a job and now i've moved on to vu+ duo as it just swamps anything i have used before (picture quality, software images etc...). i will never stop advising users on individual boxes nor will i stop explaining the dangers of using huge public shares. as mickah says the user must be given some clearance on what they decide, but as is also pointed out in this thread the same post arrives on this site on a daily basis, therefore the daily reminders of the dangers remain valid. so i do not credit an argument being taken with e45, i just ensure that users know what this individual is promoting and the dangers associated

Maybe you should let people join your SKY card share you have im sure there are lots of people on here that would love to join it
all you have to do is pm fintanni click on his name on lhs small tab beside it and send him a message im sure he be delighted to let people join his SKY card share as he has been preching to be safe yet he does it himself

well maybe since you are Sharing your SKY card with others you could let the people that dont want to go on public server on your private one then there be NO problems at all

Should probably have a sticky somewhere about the dangers of using KV and SV etc then fintann would have no need to act the masked crusader continually posting how your life will fall apart if you CS.
All he'd have to do everytime someone new came on and asked a question is post a link to the sticky and we wouldn't have to go through all this again and again..........and again.

thanks for your viewpoints. sad to say that your standpoint would leave an unlevel playing field where one user has a dominant position. sorry big guys but will not allow members to be in trouble because you want cheap business. so yes i continue to check what you recommend. users have the right to two sides to the equation.

i offer nothing but advice that is all ie best box to buy that actually works or has been working 100% over the last 8mts what do you offer scare tactics ohhh and forgot your knowledge of how to share a SKY CARD which is also illigal which you are taking part in by Sharing your SKY CARD.

i agree with e45 his reviews have been spot on,kryptveiw is the most reliable box out there. does anyone know if u can hook it up to an external hard drive for recording?

also another 50% of channels will be back today and the rest will follow on Monday
