Could you test it at a friends that has a different router and cable? Make sure you set it back to auto first though.
It's Starview all the way now!!!!

Sorry e45 was thinking of the sv combo for a sec there regarding firmware. Reswob if you open FF or Internet explorer and type in address bar 192.168.1.254 does it open your router page?

Bizarre! A list of sites? So that means 192.168.1.254 is not the ip address of your router. Okay well, go to start 'Run' and enter cmd and hit enter. Then in the dos window that opens type in ipconfig /all and see what Default Gateway is there.

mooley, something is bothering me here.clairb gave a tut on the dowwload procedures its further back in this thread.is there two usb ports on this box.she said use the one on the front of the box,i used the one on the back?there does appeare to be a hinged panel on the front but i cant get it open.i noticed this when i took it out of its wrappings, but after 20 mins trying to open it i gave up.its like it is sealed.at this stage im thinking of puting a blade to it to free it

Bazzak or someone else here would know about this as unfortunately I don't have one. Good point though, should stick to tut as much as possible.

I wouldn't go trying to prise it open just yet until someone with one can confirm if they used the back one or front one. From the pics I've seen there is only one on the back. One of the lads here should be able to tell you
There you go, cheers kaibaboy.

You need to find out your routers ip by doing what I said earlier or else it certainly won't work. Go to start then select 'Run' then type in cmd and hit enter. Now in the box that appears type in ipconfig /all and in the list that shows up you will see 'Default Gateway' this is your routers ip. If you tell us that we can tell you the list of what to put in. At the moment it seems to me your putting in the wrong router address which is why it is going mowhere mate.
Going to watch the match. Back after.

Reswob, I would be inclined to start from scratch again, reload the firmware, do the thing with the emulator, set the network to auto, and to use Istream.
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??
