the amount of broadband usage is tiny. the other comments would seem to make sense about ISP provider. that advice should be taken seriously

You should know this is common practise on AD now for this subject. I only frequent this place for a laugh :).

That's a bit harsh HiTeck
A lot of users have found great help on this site.
O.K. it can be fairly basic info.,but you were once a greenhorn too.
Maybe you should apologise to members for your aloof attitude
If it's a laugh you're after, try YU-TUBE.

No thanks, I like youtube, appreciate the advice though ;), but this place pleases me more for a laugh, not particularly AD site itself but the DVB part makes for good entertainment so I wont be taking back my (as you describe it) "aloof attitude".
I take it from experience my attitude here and wont be told by wet wipe such as you to change my mind :)
When you have helped out as many as others have I might start taking notice of you, sorry who are you again and what have you contributed here apart from sarcasm......
Please dont get me started.

piopat, we are all entitled to an opinion and I gave mine, the last response given by the Eamo2 shows the maturity of the fool, as said I come in here for a laugh, sometimes the regulars like mickah, e45 post some decent info but on the whole this place has gone to the dogs and I am speaking from experience.
Either way I didn't come in here to argue, I will take a back seat and enjoy the ride ;).

Maybe he got out wrong side of bed, or maybe he's from red side of mersey & doesn't fancy playing in same division as ACCRINGTON STANLEY in couple of years time.
Hopefully Hi-Teck will get out other side of bed today. If his demeanour does not improve I'm sure hierarchy at O.T. would give him free life membership & red-devil
replica shirt if he faced reality & publicly burnt his red mersey shirt.
Another one of those great european nights at anfield was not on agenda on thursday.

I think if you look a bit bit more closely at HiTecks sig, it may give you a little clue as to were his allegiance's really are.

Sorry Karl I never really looked at sig. It's big enough to take your eye out.
Guess I'll never get job with CSI. Didn't realise HiTeck had the faith.
He can't be a bad chap then.

I have found on E..Y a rs232 to lan connector,
itemNo 370365908313 ,which from what I can find out from my
browsing, would do the job of connecting the a750 to the router.
We'll just have to wait until the firmware comes down to a good level.

Originally posted by argan3: Well folks here it is, this is the latest craze to hit the Uk market, this little item will let you view all your channels agaun, even when n3 has wiped them out, all you need is your kryptview 750box and this connector, and not forgeting broadband connection, this is the only box working now here in the uk, so before you take out your sub get a load of this first.

Haven't read this thread in a while. Seems like a bit of fun and games have gone on since. Its a bit harsh to say that AD is just here for a laugh. The users get answers to questions they ask. Thats it. Are there forums that cover subjects more in-depth and have greater experience levels? Certainly. The DVB AD forums serves a need for its users. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ah I love it!! HiTeck as a pool supporter!!, he might not mind be called ALOOF and accusations of ATTACKING posters on here, but calling him a Liverpool supporter should be enough to drive him out of here altogether!!!
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

This box includes access to a C/S server for N3 Ireland, not UK. I guess you can connect to any C/S server, but as the Irish server is included in the price, there is no point in getting one in the UK as you are paying for something that you cannot use.
BTW, some people do refer to C/S as the N3 hack.
I've moved this thread to the starview section.

hmm, I wonder how long that will work for.
Its ok as long as boxes are being sold to support the server but what happens once the market is saturated. Who's going to maintain the subscriptions ?
For Ireland, I think there's somwhere close to 20 transponders so thats likely to be 20 subs required. Plus, the NTL areas will likely still have different card info to the Chorus areas so that could be another 20 subs required.
Dunno what the price of a sub is in Ireland but lets say they average out at 50Euro each (A lot of the cards wont need to be full sub) so thats 40 * 50 = 2000Euro a month just to maintain the subs. If its done properly then you really should double up on cards to prevent certain forms of attack so that could potentially be 4000Euro a month
So, where's that money going to come from once box sales start to drop off ?
the thing hasnt even launched and youve given away a lot of info... please keep it shtum mate.
oh no too late.... :(
Sorry for being so ignorant lads but how do you get the sv6 up and running as i just got 1 today I am in dublin
