Just trying to warn folks of the dangers mate and what is being said, your box is working, great long may it roll, but if and when it goes, then by doing what has been suggested you and anyone else are leaving themselves open to be done, secondly, no supplier will touch this with a barge poll, cause if they do, they are now liable of commiting fraud, they aint that silly to get mixed up, if that were the case they would be selling boxs flashed would they not... You could be working for VM and trying to catch em, you think they will allow that to happen?
no, they aint silly and know the dangers this involves,
what this is, this is the guys who have taken over the SV box network, trying to sell you a dangerous fairy story, (sv6.sv7) note I didnt mention the other boxs, thats cause its the only firmware they have access to, They are spewing rubbish to panic you into buying into to silliness, CS on Sat is alive and well and OSCAM is working, so dont let them fool ya, There are no SV6/7 clones either, dont let them fool ya either, give someone a MAC address, ya may as well nail yer address to yer forehead, Kryptview is running still, again another ruse to panic you into getting involved with this, cause they know there are folk out there scared witless of loosing their free chans, why you think Krypt dont charge?? They aint silly, they know where there is any sort of payment or paper trail, them and you are liable in court, point blank
you all have been warned, no doubt they will come back with something to muddy the waters,

Totally disagree with that statement both 6/7 came from same source as 1,2,3,4,5, same head honcho prob just a change of name, but defo same factory.

Completely different factory, anybody close to the source will tell you this.
If you know who supplies the Spiderbox, (Not Alsat, the actual source) same ppl.
Not exactly public knowledge so i won't mention on here....

Yes Spider and combo are near enough the same.
Spider,Combo,DDigital Duo SV6/7 same supplier
SV1-5 GT different place, as you earlier stated.

I had similar channel loss Last week so i did rescan and it seemed to work.

guys on sv6+7 if it comes up not connected and router and mode is ok just r-boot box frm switch at back leave for 30 secs and it will come back on .....

Did you turn your router on and off? the box on and off?, checked the VM webpage for outages? checked your cables for anything loose?

try turning your router off for a few minutes, then turn your stv 7 off from the button at the back of the box. for a minute, then turn back on; happy days. if no joy go to b4u movies press o;k, then press 18 19 quick wait for 25 secs; should be back on, back on in birmingham;

off this morning
switched off and then on via back of box, now working again.

A New firmware for the SV 6&7 has been released today. I'm sure it will be in downloads soon.
I read in another forum that, the new firmware is not working on all boxes. For some its working fine, and for others its saying "Unregistered"

ive put the new software on the box; scanned it. no joy. just says not connected, is there server down??? had no probs with the other firmwares; ive press 1819 etc switched the box off & on also switched the router on & off. still no joy, any ideas,[img][/img]

were have you got your software from. because when you click on the link it takes you back to the previous software view 1,00 which bdo's not work

Since you never answered the last time, tell me, why would a supplier get involved with this? Secondly, what happened to mail yer mac address, you havent come back on one thing put to you as of yet, but yet advise folks? The new firmware aint working proper either chief, some of the boxs are coming up "UNREGISTERED" so tell me how a supplier is going to fix this, cause the feedback I am getting is no supplier is doing this as it implicates them in piracy? So, Since you seem to be in the know and advising folk on the way forward, please feel free to enlighten us on how this is working
