How so
If untouched and it freezes when a usb stick is put in it then there IS something
wrong with it.
Originally posted by e45: there is nothing wrong with the box its works like it was intended to on FTA, if you want the other channels you will have to pay for server use like with SAT, Starpoo is no longer free tv get used to it.

Channels will be fine if you dont have to stick your hand yet again into your pocket, so that you will be able to watch them.
So if you see box not registered
or Date expired.
Its going to cost ya £25 for 6 mts or £45 for the year.

Blue screen and no signal going down the road E45 recommends "kryptview" would not pay a penny to starview

Gentle but STRONG comment.
Put cable to bed (good run and all that) it's closed source, yes kryptview have acted a hell of
a lot more faithfully to their customers BUT.
==============================================
Cheapest entry route to sat imho is clone dm500s with a cline.
If it does not make immediate sense have a search around and ask a few questions,
anyone with sv7's OR kryptviews should get rid pretty quick (well I think so) and move to sat side.
plenty of help here and elsewhere on the sat side, consider it m8, as above just my opinion so hopefully you will take it on board.

if your going the sat route using a sd box is old, what about a hd box for better picture,if you have to pay for a line do you get an option of sd or hd,if not i would suggest a hd box.

What info you looking for Dave? All on the previous pages about the cost etc etc, its working, up and down, if you dont have one, if your on cable, I would suggest you go krypt no furthur costs, Starview will be costs going forward, or have a look at sat (Hd boxs at this stage)Dream or Blade,

Nothing at the moment as far as I know
also kryptview's have been really iffy this last few weeks, missing loads of channels
such as discovery, though I expect it to improve.
Thanksfully I also now have sat.

well i suppose its better to be missing some channels and it be for free, or to pay Starview for it and still be missing channels.
So now if you want Starview's help you have to pay to get on their forum, what a joke this will be the straw for the camel i would say.

Dont think so e45, as some folk will pay hand over fist until it blows up, thats they way some folks are, they paid for their box and god damn it they wont part with it till they got something out of it, even if they will part with more good money after bad to keep their box working, spend more money to save pennies, rathur than cut their loss, change direction and go Sat or a Krypt, scottish fathers and mothers from Cavan.......
