I am a new subscriber I purchase a copy of DVDXCOPY P. online. When I rcvded the product at home I followed all direction and came to a dead stop when I went online to reqister the product. I have read alot of the other users problems regarding this software but was unable to read anything about a location or website to go to to down load a activation code. I even try from another computer which took me to DVDXCPY.COM, since I'm not in another country I found no help there. Is there any help out there when it comes to getting past the act code. Please help. pause41

I have tried returning the product, the company states that it does not accepts open or used software. I've tried 321 website but, I'm afraid its to late you just get a dead page.

Well that just sucks ... Those companies have to know XCopy is out of business, and they are still selling it.

Well what happened when you tried to activate? Did it say cannot connect to server?

Are you running any firewalls? If so, disable them along with any antivirus software. If your using XP, you need to make sure XP's firewall is also disabled.

Are you using any routers?

flip218 again thanks for responding. Yes its true I'm running XP/3.0/512/120hd/256mb. Now, I've been tring to activate and almost given up until I started reading the posted msgs. I'm even going to give NYC Software.com a call/e-mail tomorrow for help. But, this is were I stand. I've followed all the instruction I can find to do this but nothings working. So, here we go, I tried using the activationfile html document 1kb from the floppy disk which takes me to DVDXCOPY.COM, underneat of that screen a msgs states: "the license ID is not valid or the password you entered did not match." Now i'm sure I used the correct password/Lic #. Again I've tried several time w/the same results. So thats my story and I'm sticking to it. But, thanks for tring to help I really appreciate it.

Yes ... If you ever registered on the 321 site, then the password you use to login is the password you use to activate. <- did that make sense?

See if you can login here: If so use that password
