Now that I have finally burned a dvd, I have one problem....burned a copy of passion. Only plays in hearing impaired version. Ok for this movie but gets annoying. Any ideas?

Hi ashamba. :)

The audio stream to keep is the "Hebrew/Latin" one (DTS or AC3 5.1).
The subpicture, "English".

I'd suggest you view the following guide.
It shows you how to make them play by default. ;)

One more question on version choice....should or would it be better to use this method for all movies?

sorry bout that DD....after reading it...I didnt get it either..... What I meant was.. is it a good idea to make the selection to allow the DVD player to choose and choose English in that box for all movies as was listed.
I recorded House of rock....there were three english choices..eng AC3, each with a check box. Should I check one in particular of follow the directions as listed on DVDShrink.inf....PS: thats a great page! Pisses me off that it works so well....I purchased two DVD Xcopy's off Ebay...cant get either one to work..Shrink was free and works great!

Thanks for the positive feedback. :)

Well, when using the Full-Disc mode, the choice of default audio/subpicture streams shouldn't be an issue, as DVD Shrink will leave them as they are on the original disc.
When using the Reauthor mode, it might be best to set the streams default manually.
If they are the first ones in the stream listings (i.e, the default stream is #1, the commentary #2, etc etc), it's usually not neccessary though.

When you do not know which stream is the main soundtrack, you can right-click on DVD Shrink preview window while previewing the movie.
A sub-menu will appear and let you choose what audio stream you want to hear (this has no effect on the backup).
That should enable you to identify the mian soundtrack. ;)

As a rule of thumb, AC3 5.1 is normally the stream to select, and AC3 2ch are commentaries of some sort.
