According to this site:
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
It apperears you've been screwed. The link you provided claims tha media should have an MCC code but you recieved a load of crap Onidtech.
I'd be on the phone with them demanding to know why.

I just received 50. Same thing! Haven't dealt with these guys before, although had seen some good reviews.
Interestingly, they've now changed the Lead In Info on the website from "MC-Code" to "SKC" - still not ONIDTECH! They'd better not try and claim that they were never advertised with the Mitsubishi Lead-In Code in the first place...
Unless they can offer me something really decent, I'll be pursuing a full refund (including my return carriage costs.)
Will post back with results.

I don't think that CMC is that bad, as stated there.
CMC makes DVDs for Memorex for example, but there was a time Verbatim was made by CMC as well. But what bigpockets is doing here, still selling these as Mitsubishi Chemicals is not fair.

I just left this feedback on 'contact us' page for bigpockets.co.uk
Quote: I have recently read on our forum ( http://www.afterdawn.com ) that you're selling discs as Mitsubishi Chemicals X4 Silver DVD-R when they are clearly not !
Item Number: DVR9064-50
I mean they are 'dirt' cheap so I'd have been sceptical myself anyway , but I have also read on that you are going to replace the user/persons DVD-Rs (good business practice)
You might want to either alter that page that has the info for that particualr media OR and I happen to think this is the best suggestion ... get rid of them full stop [and maybe let supplier know how peeved you are with them].

Nice , glad to hear you got satisfaction (at last) !!
I've only ever purchased sale price hardware items from bigpockets , I would suggest that they not be trusted for media ... especially after this bro ; )
If I can help further , just give us a shout

ITS STRANGE THO ... i have used them a few times... i know they arent the cheapest tho... but when ordering a load of cases etc they usually work out ok...
having said that the place where i usually get my ridisks from seemed to supply dodgy ones last time..
the 1st lot were 8x and you could write on the surface with a semi perm ohp pen and were ID'd as G05s - second lot were blank ID, 4x and you couldnt use the same pen... so im not sure... dodgy business indeed

yeah I hear ya babelfish , i use www.blankdiscshop.co.uk & even they once sent me a dodgy 25 pack of RiDisc X4 DVD-R (G04)
i used what i could & sent the rest back (15 of them) ... 'freepost' of course !!
they refunded the whole cost of 25 spindle though , and I've not bought RiDisc ever since
i buy the branded Ritek x4 DVD-R or Verbatim DataLifePlus x4 DVD-R w/ Taiyo Yuden dye (Verbatims come in nice pastel colours too - lol)

* NOTE *
I have recieved an e-mail back from the one I sent to bigpockets.co.uk (see above) and the reply goes thus:
Quote: Hi,
Thanks for your e-mail
We have now removed the product from our website. Our supplier still
claims these are Mitsubishi Chemicals discs, but to save any further
problems we are going to remove them and return the stock.
If anyone has these discs and would like them exchanging it will be done
free of charge by courier.
Kind Regards
