Hello, does checking the perform deep analysis box using DVD shrink before you burn a dvd really improve the quality? Thnaks Steve

IMO it does :) ... I couldn't give you a good answer on using Quality Enhancements, cause don't use em.

Hi Steve,

If you're doing more than 10% compression it makes a world of difference. Using both the Quality settings, (I like Maximum smoothnes most of the time) and the Deep Anaylsis many times will equal OR even out perform the $$$ proggys. If you don't care if the quality is "DVD quality" then don't bother, your times for doing a backup will pickup quite a bit. Most pple will spend the extra time in order to hear their friends tell you what a great "flick" you had :).
