DVD Shrink -- Error -- Need some assistance!?!

Hey all -

Making a DVD backup of 'In The Bedroom' via DVD Shrink. Shrink begins first analysis and then stops with the following error;

"DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "D:\"
Copy Protection -- The read failed because the sector is encrypted"

This error ONLY occurs when I try to back up this particular movie. I've tried restarting, etc., but to no available.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance ...

Every now and again there's a particular title that proves to be a real booger for Shrink so you can either rip with Decrypter then open the files with Shrink or download the trial for AnyDVD and leave that running before you open Shrink :)

I had a similar problem with "the count of monte cristo"

Tried using DVD Decrypter and it too encountered a problem and gave me a funky error. Neither Shrink nor Decrypter work for this dvd. Any thoughts?

Hey Nakanenui-

Follow Nephilim advice above .. Go download the trial version of AnyDVD (http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html) .. run AnyDVD then open Shrink and you should be good to go .. Have a good one ..

everything i have had this problem it turned out to be a dirty dvd. when i cleaned the dvd-problem was gone.
